This is sort of like the goldilocks bed, it is at both times soft yet somewhat firm (so you don't sink into it like jello) but doesn't feel like you are laying on a brick that has no give. If you like medium, but are more on the plus side, get this one for sure. It does conform a bit over time as you sleep on it but in a nice way not where it feels like you sink into it, but rather molded to you and comfortable. And it never feels like you are sagging. just a few months in but love it so far. Highly recommend.

It is a very heavy mattress, not easily movable when trying to tuck the sheets under it. Unfortunately, the firmness I selected was not good for my back. I initially tried the soft level mattress, but decided to go with the medium because of back issues. However, my back pain increased, so I had to return it for a softer mattress. I purchased the Lux Estate because it included 8 vents, as well as a cool-to-the-touch cover to keep heat from building up. But the mattress held the heat of my body, even after I left the bed, you could still feel the warmth on the spot where I slept. I also bought this mattress for the enhanced pressure relief, but I believe I purchased the wrong feel. My soft feel should arrive in a few weeks . Overall, I believe this is a very well made mattress, that will provide me the comfort I seek for years to come. I do not regret purchasing it, despite the temperature short fall.

Never buy without first trying it. Since i had previously bought two it didn't seem necessary. Not bery good help online. The only thing i love is the appearance.

We bought a mattress from a different manufacturer and after several years had to have it replaced because it was sagging. We bought another S+F mattress and are finally sleeping so much better again!!

Very worried about too much foam and heat. We did a lot of investigating and felt that Stearns & Foster had a product we could embrace. Somehow, somewhere the mattress went missing. It took one week to "track" the mattress before an order for another mattress was placed. FINALLY, the mattress was delivered on July 27, 2023. I had a S&F mattress before and loved it. Which is why I ordered another one. I would NOT recommend ordering any product from the S&F website. Customer service was non-existent.

But nope, it's been perfectly comfortable from day one (and my back is grateful)! I'd fallen in love with a friend's old old Stearns and Foster mattress (did I mention I have back pain?), so I decided to buy my own, and what a difference it's made. I'd had a 15 year old Sleep Number before, which had broken down and was extremely painful to sleep on. The Stearns and Foster I fell in love with was at least that old and wasn't broken down, thus my decision to purchase one, and look forward to many years of use. From the smooth online ordering to the delivery timing and customer service, I couldn't be happier, so I'd definitely recommend investing in this mattress (for reference, I have preferred a soft mattress before this).
