The battery burned up after one day and no it wasn't left on or used to long

This toy is amazing and my godson and husband enjoy their guns and drive me crazy when they play with them and using my recycling bottles as targets or me and my nieces when we don't look! Over a great product to have fun with and this is our second one and these fellas drive me crazy with the toy!!!
