My wife and I both upgraded to the iO 9 series from standard Oral B electric brushes and we can not believe the incredible difference these new brushes make. Our teeth feel cleaner than they ever have before. It’s like daily having the smooth clean feeling after leaving the dentist every six months for a cleaning. Simply amazing. I think my wife was more impressed with the difference since she wasn’t as excited about paying the higher price and she is much more frugal than I am. But the price is totally worth it to her now. I would highly recommend this tooth brush to everyone. The app feature is a cool idea and I have set that up on my iPhone but I have yet to utilize the various programs and routines it offers. The brush by itself has so many features for various cleaning levels and the light indicator tells you if you are pressing too hard or too soft. Very nice feature.

There are so many ways to customize the toothbrush, it’s unbelievable! There are 4 different heads to use for the toothbrush, each targeting different problem areas. It came with a charger and a travel case as well. I have sensitive gums and this toothbrush has been great to show me when I’m brushing too hard or just right. The timer is also very convenient and enable me to brush for the whole 2 minutes. This is a product that you can use right out of the box, but i absolutely recommend reading the directions since there are so many options to customize the toothbrush for you. Also, i am unable to connect my phone app to my toothbrush—thinking it’s a combination of my phone an internet connection, not necessarily the toothbrush. The Oral B app provides even more ways to customize your toothbrush and really focus on target areas in your mouth. Overall 5 star product that I highly recommend.

I've never owned a rechargeable toothbrush before so I was really excited to try the io7. My teeth feel super clean, which I love. Its very user friendly. I love the timer feature. Overall, this is a great device, but I wish the battery did not drain so quickly.

You can customize the color ring, decide if you want a normal, densities, whitening, intense or gum brush. The app is so cool and handy as it can guide you to keep a good pressure and also spend the perfect amount of time on each section of teeth. The brush holds charge really well and is SUPER powerful. My teeth feel so good after brushing now and I’m constantly rubbing my tongue on them!

The charging station is small and does not take a lot of space which is really nice and it comes with a storage for the head. It is easy to hold on to and has a timer on it for how long you should brush your teeth.

The toothbrush itself is very easy to use and setting it up on the app is just as easy. You don't need the app to use this brush, but its a bonus. I was a diehard fan of a different brand of electric brushes for about 12 years (since they first became available). During this time not only did I love using mine, but also gave several as gifts to family and friends. So for a layman I have a decent frame of reference. Was very cautious about Oral-B brush and not ready to love it. Initially I was off to a rocky start because accidentally selected Japanese as preferred language (stupid of me, so be VERY careful when you first turn on the brush). The language is easy to change, but for that to happen you need to understand what the brush is saying. After several futile attempts at constructive dialog with my new gadget and a few Youtube videos I managed to change it to English (also, do you now how it bruises the ego when your toothbrush speaks Japanese and you do not?). Now to the brush itself. Really high quality tool. Once you get used to it, very easy to operate. The brush-head itself is somewhat bulkier than what I am used to, but not too much so. I tried it on different settings and find all of them comfortable. Cleans beautifully, mouth feels really fresh. Like the timers and especially like that after two minutes the brush does not shut off. Often there are a few places to go over once more, so now you can brush as long as you prefer. Like the pressure indicator light A LOT, because I have a tendency to push harder than necessary. However I would prefer if it was located lower on the handle, since it is hard to look at without a mirror. But still, very useful feature. The charger is nice and sleek, but for me was somewhat confusing in the beginning. First attempted to use it upside down. There are three tiny protrusions on the bottom of the charger which match perfectly notches on the bottom of the brush. Figured it out almost right away, but would be great to have some clear indication which side should be up. Minor thing, I agree. Holds charge for a loooooong time, great battery life. Very handy travel case, but I think it would be better to have a compartment in it for a charger as well (for extended trips). All in all, very, VERY happy with this brush (surprised myself). Smart tool, but not to make owner feel intellectually inferior. Oh, also, it would be great if two buttons on the handle had distinctly different surfaces, so you could use them blindly. It takes getting used to and if you pull the brush out of the mouth to turn it off, it might spay the mirror. You get used to the location of the buttons after a few days, but still, would be great to have them different from the get-go. In short, LOVE this brush, really enjoy how it cleans and the rest of the useful features. Very happy with it, extremely glad I convinced myself to give it a try.
