As a dental student, I was excited to try this cutting edge and sleek toothbrush that seemed to “have it all”. I’m always looking for products to recommend to my patients to make their oral hygiene more effective and enjoyable. However, after using this toothbrush for only about 2 or 3 months, I was absolutely disgusted. I was consistent about rinsing the toothbrush off thoroughly after every use and keeping it clean, but that wasn’t enough to keep away black mold from growing inside the mechanical brush head. I ran the toothbrush under water and happened to notice small black specks falling into the sink. I removed the brush head and the inner workings of both the head and the electric toothbrush connector (cannot even be removed) we’re caked in black mold. Unlike other electric toothbrushes, this one circulates water and toothpaste through the brush head (that goes into your mouth) and the connecting pieces that get dirty very quickly. This is resulting in black mold specks actually entering your mouth directly which is a huge health risk and frankly disgusting. I’m severely disappointed in this product and the health hazard it poses for any customer using it, especially for the high cost. Please do not buy this brush until they resolve this obvious issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe there's a toothbrush out there that's better than sonicare. My teeth and gums feel super clean after use. The unit itself is very well made. It has a nice solid weight to it. I love the features that let me know if I'm applying the correct pressure or not. And even though I'm an adult it makes me feel good seeing the little smiley face on the panel that lets me know I did a good job. I like the shape of the brush head. I feel like it really gets in there. It's very user friendly and I like being able to change the settings whenever I want. Most days I use the white and you really can see a difference. My only minor gripe is I wish the brush heads came with a cover. I highly recommend this toothbrush. You won't be disappointed.

I usually do write reviews, but this brush deserves a good review. This toothbrush has such a smooth feeling to it, truly is one of a kind. Favorite part has to be the timer since I don’t always brush enough without setting a timer on my phone, luckily now this can do it itself.

They look better than they have in a very long time. It has a pulsation built in. It comes with a magnetic charging stand. It gas several cleaning modes. I am thoroughly impressed with this tooth brush.

As a dental hygienist, I get to try all of the latest technologies and products of all brands. This is by far my favorite product I’ve experienced for myself AND my patients. I have noticed minimal plaque and bleeding areas in my patients that are using the IO toothbrush (correctly). If I have a patient that says they don’t like the brush, I show them how to properly use it. More than 9/10, they were using it incorrectly & end up loving the brush after proper use. Ask your dental professional for advice!! I believe in this brush from personal and professional experience and recommend it to all of my patients, friends, and family!

The buttons are so easy to use and the changing of settlings is so easy to do. I love how easy the brush head can be changed and how the magnetic style to it for charging! Has diff settlings for sensitivity, your gums, tongue, and to whiten your teeth. The settings are really nice and easy to use. This brush is by far the best powered one i have ever used!!! Highly recommend Only thing I am having problems with is my phone is having hard time finding the tooth brush on the app. I have enabled the WiFi on the tooth brush, but my phone says searching forever and never finds it. I have googled on how to do this and seems i can’t get it to connect, but I’m not worried about that more of the function of the brush that is amazing!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never really was into the whole electronic toothbrush bit til now. I was highly impressed with how personal my toothbrush could get. The app is easy to get started and operate and I love how it tracks my brushing making me feel more accountable for my mouth health while satisfying my many needs with its 3 settings. I feel its lightweight and i can charge it so easily as it gets tedious with electronics you have to plug in to its charger and considering it being under water wireless charging is the smartest. Im getting my husband one too i like it that much.

Plus your left with your mouth feeling clean.

I bought this as many studies have this is more effective than a manual toothbrush. Though Oral B and Sonicare are two of the top brand, I chose the Oral B instead because of its appeal and heavily marketing to be a better toothbrush when it comes to cleaning due to their oscillation motion. Though there are a lot of benefits to talk about, I WILL ONLY TELL YOU WHAT I DISLIKE ABOUT THIS ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH. First, it is messy if you don't be careful with this and I also find it odd that whenever I finished cleaning the head of the toothbrush there will be some amount of water leftover dripping down from inside of the toothbrush as a result, making it stained wherever you put it. Second, the app technology is great but I doubt the real-time tracking brushing will do any good, as they fail to capture the motion as which spot I have the toothbrush at when I already move to the next one leading you to brush your teeth longer could do some harm or good in the long run. Overall, it's a decent product that comes at a premium price with some unnecessary features that you may not need.
