I tried to examine this conundrum by way of an opportunity to sample Olyra Breakfast Biscuits. I'm a big fan of protein and granola bars because they can serve as a meal replacement and are portable, so I can eat them when I'm traveling. Olyra says their biscuits have 4g fiber and 5g protein, which is a good sign. They're made with "ancient Greek grains" which you can learn more about by visiting their website. I selected the dark chocolate sandwich flavor because dark chocolate is a superfood. In the morning I ate a biscuit that people in my part of the world are more familiar with - a big hunk of bread filled with sausage and egg. The Olyra was going to serve as a 1 p.m. meal and the challenge was to see if that could keep me satisfied until I ate a salad at 4 p.m. I opened that package and my first thought was, "gosh, these are tiny." Then I opened the individually wrapped bar and my second thought was, "gosh, these weigh a ton." It was delicious (very good chocolate flavor) and not super crumbly even though it was cookie-like, so in the future I would feel OK eating one while driving. And my stomach didn't grumble until 3:57 p.m., which I consider inside the margin for error. Success! I would recommend.

The only thing I would change is the thickness of the biscuit. It was a bit thick for my liking. Though I did eat the whole box and not offer to share with anyone. I will buy again in the future.

Easy to carry breakfast option, if you are in hurry you can grab it and go . My kids like them too . Would definitely recommend it. I wish they have more flavors .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Olyra Foods Organic Breakfast Biscuits were yummy enough to fool a very particular person into thinking they were snack bars -- like a treat, not something that is good for him. So that alone is a win in my book. These aren't the most affordable choice if you have a lot of people to feed but if it's a breakfast substitute it's a pretty good deal in my opinion.
