[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had chocolate. They were okay. I thought they bar need to be more moist. The bars were dry. Towards the end of the bar I needed to get a drink to help was it down. The taste wasn't bad and was what I would expect.

They are a balance of flavors, not too sweet. Not gritty like granola bars and protein bars. But one cookie does not fill me up for breakfast. I believe they are 180 calories each so I just couldn't indulge myself the way I would have liked. But if you can afford to eat any amount of calories because you are either training for a marathon, or are extremely active, go ahead and eat two. Me? I'm using them as a dessert

The grains made a nutty and somewhat rough texture, the chocolate was dark but all of the various added sweeteners made a lingering sour taste that I didn't enjoy. The biscuit crumbled as soon as I took a bite because it was hard, though the chocolate filling was soft.

I would not likely eat them except for a treat however due to the added sugar content. They would be more of a dessert cookie rather than breakfast for me.
