Other chocolate is good, but Ghirardelli is one of the best. Quality chocolate that I prefer over the more pedestrian chocolate, just wish it was a little cheaper on the pocketbook.

Wonderful assortment of excellent chocolate. Fortunately very few trick or treaters showed up this year so our family had to eat this delicious assortment of Ghirardelli dark and milk chocolate treats... Delightful!

If you are looking for a solid treat to keep on hand or hand out as a gift, these Ghirardelli squares are pretty hard to beat. The presentation is excellent—the gold and navy bag looks premium right off the shelf, and the individual wrappers make them feel a bit more special than just grabbing a handful of loose candy. As for the experience, they hit that "Goldilocks" zone for mass-market chocolate. The outer shell has a satisfying snap and a nice, smooth temper that keeps things from getting messy, which sets up the center perfectly. Whether you’re diving into the caramel, the dark chocolate, or the milk varieties, the fillings are consistently creamy and never feel overly waxy or cheap. They aren't going to rival high-end boutique bean-to-bar craftsmanship, but for an 18.8-ounce bag you can grab at the grocery store, they deliver exactly what you expect every single time.

Delicious, too many plain Milk Chocolate

Not the Ghirardelli they used to sell a few years ago. CHECK THE INGREDIENTS! First ingredient is sugar then corn syrup, you have to go a ways down the list to find anything cacao (chocolate). Ghirardelli was acquired by Lindt who cheapened the recipe with fillers to save themselves money so now you're eating pretty much the same recipe as the non melting rubbery Hershey bars. Don't buy this stuff!
