[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Box Lock Packaging Tape is a good quality tape. It does indeed stick instantly to boxes. The boxes are sealed and feel secured. The tape itself feels thick and very durable. You can tell that this is a high quality product. The roll is easy to start and even if it slips off the holder and re-sticks to the roll, I found it easy to restart it. Very good tape for shipping or storage. I received this product for free from 3M to evaluate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is AMAZING compared to the tape I usually get for mailing packages. It stays stuck even to a dirty cardboard box and unlike every other tape I've tried, if you push against the box, this tape actually stays stuck holding the box closed! I usually have to put like 4 layers of moving tape on a box before I mail it in order to keep it from getting gaps in the tape if anything is stacked on it, but this tape holds so well that I literally only needed ONE piece of tape! For anyone who mails a lot of packages, or is packing up boxes to move, definitely pick this tape over the competition! Two huge thumbs up from this frequent mailer!

It was easy to cut as well. It stuck well to my package and didn't split or tear at any point as I was applying it. Good quality tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotch box lock packing tape is a nice size. I liked that it is easy to open and cuts evenly. I used it to repair a box that had come unglued. The tape has a quality adhesive backing. it holds well and didn't seem to wrinkle as I applied it to the box. The cutting edge is easy to use and isn't too wide. The teeth on the edge cut the tape evenly without pulling or separating it. I liked the heavyweight feel of the tape as well as the clear quality. 3M sent me a free sample product to review.

My car was broken into, and I had a 5.5 hour drive back home without a driver's front window. I wanted to make the drive back with a barrier in case there was bad weather, etc, but wanted something that would not obstruct my vision. I used this tape to make a make-shift window. I drove 70+mph home and through rain, and this tape held up the entire way. I was so grateful Scotch made this excellent product. It made a stressful situation much better. Very durable and definitely kept the promise to stay sealed!

The tape was easy to cut and the dispenser was easy to use. The tape is strong and adheres well to packing boxes. I am impressed with this tape and will continue to use for all of my packaging needs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M,and the company recently sent me a free sample of Scotch Box Lock shipping Packaging Tape. I love that the part that you cutoff the tape with is upward and not down like normal packaging tape.It makes it easier to get the amount I need.I really did need only one strip to seal a package and whenever I used it it did mot sliver,split or tear.It is not a large roll of tape but since I needed only one strip to seal.It was the right amount.

Happy with the quality and it does keep boxes closed securely. I'm glad they figured out how to dispense the tape without making that loud noise. Will definitely be buying this in the stores.

Usually you get tape that is hard to tare or tares too easily. But this was great. I highly recommend this for all your packaging needs.
