[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the silky consistency, as well as the ease of having Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid combined into one product. The eco-conscious packaging was a nice touch, too. If you're not already using a Vitamin C product, you'll definitely see a brighter complexion in just a few uses.

I noticed a difference in my skin, even with accidentally missing a few days. I will continue to buy. The only reason I gave it it 4 stars is because the consistency seemed weird to me and it was a little tacky, but nothing that couldn't really be overlooked much.

Why include the alcohol? and before you defend it, it is the 6th ingredient and before the ceramides in the formula. Why include denatured alcohol in a sensitive skin product line? we know incredients are expensive and all serve a purpose, but this one just does not. so disappointing. Not dermatologist recommended!

Leaves your skin DARK ORANGE and will stain your clothes. This vitamin C feels very cheap, mostly like you are mainly using silicone. Additionally, you cannot pair it with any other product, especially makeup. Missed the fact this contains denatured alcohol, which is not a great ingredient to have in your skincare.

The product started to smell metallic after a few days of use. I unscrewed the lid and found rust all around the tip of the tube. The package claims it is designed to keep the product from oxidizing but obviously that failed. I don't recommend this product until they fix the packaging. I can't say if it works because I was only able to use it for a few days.

I was excited to try this product as I love the zinc oxide facial moisturizer. After my first use, my fingers smelled like metal. I tried again the next day, and same thing. I figured it was from the metal tube it is in. I am now applying it with a brush, but if I touch my face, again my fingers smell like metal. I can't stand this and now have a full bottle I can't use, such a waste of money.

There is denatured alcohol in this product, while will help stabilize the formula and give a quick absorption it does more damage than good. Denatured Alcohol not only dries the skin but causes erosion of the surface and reduces its ability to renew itself. The formula should have fatty alcohols in it instead such as cetyl, stearyl, and cetearyl alcohol. Those alcohols are non-irritating and still offer a pleasant texture while stabilizing the vitamin C. A gentle, yet safe and effective ingredient change would actually provide beneficial change to the skin.

I really can't tell a difference yet. I'm using this product and nightly exfoliation which I can use about 4 times a week, daily moisturizing, skin renewing night cream, hydrating facial cleanser and was using the eye cream but I gave that to my daughter. Price is about right. I'm trying for a bit longer and decided to try the vitamin c serum. Going to the dermatologist I'll find out what she thinks. I also have the healing ointment which I like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't very familiar with most of Cera Ve's skincare line except their cleansers for dry skin so I expected this product to be a bit similar. Vitamin C serums can make your skin sensitive to the sun so the best time to use is at night before bed which is what I did. Worth mentioning also having sensitive skin meant I had to use this product every other day in order to build a tolerance and I'm glad I had no irritations. Overall this is a nice and hydrating serum and can last over a month because of how concentrated it is.

This could have been an amazing product if it wasn't for the denatured alchohol.
