CeraVe's Skin Renewing Vitamin C Serum is a skin care product that everyone should consider making a staple in their skin care routine. It's made with 10% vitamin C which helps to brighten dark spots and hyperpigmentation. Plus it contains hydrologic acid which is great because vitamin c does not work the way it's supposed to if it's not used in conjunction with hydroclonic acid and vice versa. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this product daily for about a month, so it's hard to tell what the long term effects would be. I usually use Skinceuticals CE ferulic and this is a great alternative to what I feel is the gold standard of Vit C. I like this packaging, it is protected from light and stays fresh. I wish there was a way for it to stand upright next to my other skincare. This has 10% ascorbic acid which is the best form of Vit C. In addition to the Vit C it also contains ceramides, Vit B5 and hyaluronic acid. The formulation glides onto the skin and makes it feel smooth right away. I find that it can tend to pill with certain makeup I use though, which is frustrating and leaves me doubting if it's actually sinking into my skin or sitting on top. Overall, I think this is a great alternative if you're looking for Vit C serum and don't want to shell out the big $$ for other brands.

The product comes out looking almost white but it does go on clear so you can wear it during the day. It is lightweight and feels smooth on the skin. I like that the product includes moisturizing ingredients. My skin does look a little brighter, hopefully more so after more use. My only complaint is the strong smell.

After using the product for a week my skin doesn't look as full and my dark spots are reacting beautifully to it. The container is large and in charge for a serum. I can't wait to see what happens after a month of use.

The rough patches of skin on my face along with signs of aun damage have gone away because of my regular use of this Serum twice a day. It's easy to use, and it sinks in quite well.

I wish someone had told me about this sooner. For the longest time I was buying over priced vitamin C serums in very tiny containers. Each one was getting me maybe three months worth of product. Then I found out about this. This was absolutely a game changer. It comes in a sizable bottle for a very reasonable price. The texture is smooth. It feels nice on my extraordinarily dry skin. I use it in the morning and I follow it with a moisturizer. Honestly, great product.
