The water sprays in an arch to the outside of the splash pad so the entire area outside the splash area gets wet and the inside barely gets any water causing the water that does come inside to get hot really fast because there isn't much and it's in the sun.

Went to use it a second time and the rubber part around the hose attachment leaked and would not let the sprinkler part work. So we just ended up using it as a pool. Was very disappointed for the price, but my granddaughter still had fun

Disappointed - 2 out of 5 stars review7/13/2021I'm no stranger to replacing water toys. I always go into it hoping to get at least a month of use out of it. This was $60 for an inflatable pool with water that sprays out, a nice cooling toy for this very hot summer. My kids used it 3 times, but the third I noticed water in the part that is supposed to have air. I thought they might have tried to put water in the air hole. No, the part where the hose attaches has a leak on the inside and now water is filling the part where it should not be. Patches aren't helpful for this. The DIY version of this is way cheaper and you probably get about as many uses out of it.
Great if you only plan to use it twice

The children wnjoyed playing on it but when i drained it and took it up at 4pm, the grass underneath was the color of straw. It has uet ro fully recover. I would avoid using this item on your lawn as i have.no idea what chemicals that they used that would cause such quick and lasting lawn destruction
