My husband and I spent nine days at the Fairmont Orchid Resort on the Island of Hawaii. Those were the best night's sleep I had in over five years. In our last morning in our suite I pulled the covers off to discover the brand of the mattress. It was Sterns and Foster, I did more investigating I called housekeeping, they informed me it was a Sterns and Foster Reserve mattress. As soon as we arrived beck home I went on line and ordered the Reserve Firm Pillow Top Split California mattress. It was delivered yesterday 4/12, we put the bedding on that was the included gift. Last night was the best sleep we have had since coming home from Hawaii. We woke up rested, refreshed , ready for the day. Beyond a shadow of a doubt this is the best mattress we have owned. The combo of coils and memory foam meant that I don't feel my husband move at night. I was concerned about how big it looks that my sheets would not fit on it but the deep pocket sheets don't move an inch.

We had our mattress delivered today so have not slept on it yet. The buying experience was excellent. James Foreman was our Outfitter and he took as much time as we needed to test each mattress and find the one that was best for our sleep needs. He explained the pros and cons of each mattress and also explained their mattress recycling program as well as their delivery experience. By the time we left the store, we were confident that we could make a decision and be happy with our mattress. The next day, I placed the order with Steve, the manager, who also explained the delivery and mattress pickup process. Our mattress came on time and was quickly taken upstairs and installed along with the box springs we bought. We used our current metal frame and the mattress and box springs fit perfectly. This mattress is hot and well, saggy. I am not that large but if I lie in the middle of the bed, I create a 4-6 inch impression which makes movement hard. I guess it is the memory foam that does that since it was not apparent at first. I have had a few back surgeries and need more support to keep my back in alignment.

Ok so it just arrived but it is so hard I can't imagine sleeping on it tonight. I ordered the reserve pillow top soft and actually called S&F because I thought maybe the wrong bed was delivered. Unfortunately it is the right bed and it is hard as a rock. I don't understand at all how this could be so hard and be described as pillow top soft. Customer service told me it will soften up. I'm so sorry I ordered this and right now have no doubt I'll be returning for a refund as soon as humanly possible.
