[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is very comfortable. It is quite tall and very heavy. When it arrived we thought it had a box spring built into it. But it did not so we decided to use our box spring. So our bed is pretty tall, a lot taller than our old one. I am about 5'5 and have to kind of hop in the bed. But I'm sure that will go down some in a short time. The mattress has a pillow top that is very thick and comfortable.

Ok so it just arrived but it is so hard I can't imagine sleeping on it tonight. I ordered the reserve pillow top soft and actually called S&F because I thought maybe the wrong bed was delivered. Unfortunately it is the right bed and it is hard as a rock. I don't understand at all how this could be so hard and be described as pillow top soft. Customer service told me it will soften up. I'm so sorry I ordered this and right now have no doubt I'll be returning for a refund as soon as humanly possible.

We have it on a platform bed with slats, so we did not need a foundation and I'm glad because the mattress is very tall in itself. You'll need sheets with deep pockets in order to fit! There's a reason why Stearns & Foster is the best.

BUYER BEWARE unless you have money to just throw away. This is the worse performing mattress I have ever owned manufactured in a Stearns and Foster.brand. I purchased a Queen and a king to replace older mattresses 4 months ago and have regretted it ever since. There is not any support in it. When you sit or lay for just a short period of time it bottoms out giving you NO support there. Forget about a good night sleep because it is not going to happen with this mattress. Neither my husband or myself are large people. Getting up in the mornings with back pain and not rested since a few hours is all either of us can take on this mattress does not make for a good day. I have a medical condition that makes getting enough sleep crucial to daily function. This issue with this mattress goes beyond "break in" condition. You feel like you are in a hole all the time. I guess buying a new model mattress is like buying a new model car, you don't do it! Wait until enough complaints are made that the manufacturer makes the corrections necessary to manufacture a reliable quality product before you make a purchase. I feel like a crash dummy for mattresses in the testing phase!! Unfortunately I DO NOT have anything good to say about this mattress. For the money spent I expected quality from Stearns and Foster as I always have. I only gave it one star because that was the lowest I could rate it.

In our last morning in our suite I pulled the covers off to discover the brand of the mattress. It was Sterns and Foster, I did more investigating I called housekeeping, they informed me it was a Sterns and Foster Reserve mattress. As soon as we arrived beck home I went on line and ordered the Reserve Firm Pillow Top Split California mattress. It was delivered yesterday 4/12, we put the bedding on that was the included gift. Last night was the best sleep we have had since coming home from Hawaii. We woke up rested, refreshed , ready for the day. Beyond a shadow of a doubt this is the best mattress we have owned. The old adage is true You get what you pay for, in this case it is a luxurious well made mattress worth every penny we spent.

This is my first experience with this brand, but it won't be my last. We absolutely love this mattress! It is very thick and I do plan on buying some deep fitted sheets, but that's not a big deal. Because it's so tall, it is able to offer much support. It's firm, but the pillow top offers just enough softness to be very comfortable. I'm a side sleeper and my husband sleeps on his stomach, we both have been sleeping great on it. A good night sleep is so important and comfort makes all the difference. We have owned mattresses from other big brands, but this one is by far our favorite. Even the material of the mattress feels luxurious and is attractive. It's obvious thought and detail went into making it. It was also a very easy and painless delivery. The service sent many updates and the delivery drivers were very kind. I will definitely be recommending this mattress to friends and family looking for a new one.

Was very surprised before i start let me say i recieved this mattress as part of a promotion and was blessed to get to review it. I like the handles in the side makes it easier to move around. 2nd thing I noticed was the little air holes on side. Was super excited about that I'm a hot sleeper live in Texas can say I think this idea actually works its not like a ice box bit I diffenelty seem to be cooler at night not so stuffy . So that wad a major bonus with me . It's pretty tall when you put it on a box spring I really like that. Get deep pockets sheets also. Havnt had any issues with sheets coming off so that another thing I like usually sheet is half off by morining. And I received the soft lux hybrid first time with a mattress with memory foam. And I loved it. I like that it's a hybrid so you get the benefits of both memory foam and springs. I'm a side sleeper and havnt woke up to my shoulder hurting and that is awsome. The only thing is that my and my husband I feel end up in the middle some nights leaning on each other and with it being soft it feels like you kinda sink in but I like it and love it first luxury mattress I have owned and it did not disappoint.
