Good way to keep track of progress

Had the scale for some time now. Great for keeping track of progress on weight, % body fat and Muscle mass. Recently changed WiFi in house and was a little tricky to change and had to reset scale, lost a few weeks of data. After factory reset was able to set up with new household wifi. Garmin for some reason thinks this is a new scale after the reset which is why I got asked now for a review after owing the scale for several years. Would by again.

Great Investment in Your Health!

Best health equipment investment you can make if you are serious about monitoring your overall physical body stats without having to manually keep track. Stats go right into Garmin Connect as well as Apple Health and other apps. Easy to use and add other household members.

Calculations need improvement

I am active and not overweight, I am 5’08” at 220 lbs. with it being a smart scale that can compute your muscle weight, it has my BMI and body fat percentage extremely high (straight off a chart reading instead of calculating the actual muscle mass, body fat percentage and BMI)

Just the right motivation.

Just the motivation I needed. In addition weight, I love the other metrics of BMI, %body fat, muscle comp etc. and I like that it recognizes other users in the family.

Once setup, easy to use, but setup is crude

Once you get it setup up, its pretty easy to use. But really, I had to take a star off because of Garmin's round about setup process using Connect. They could use a lesson from apple. Why do i have to dig down into menus to setup this new device. I should be able to turn on the device, start Connect on my phone and have the new device recognized and start the install.

Gets it done

I like the scale a lot because it automatically sinks with my Garmin connect and tracks weight data without me, even having to think about it. It has a lot of other features as well which I don’t care too much for but looks like it also accurately measures BMI as well as hydration and muscle weight. The automatic sinking and the bright LED are a win for me. Plus, I made my username “sexy” so every time I step on the scale, it tells me how sexy I am. Lol.

Consistent Scale

This scale effectively measures weight. However, I’m unsure about its weather-related feature. It might be based on the WiFi location as I am on a 5G service. The wake-up step can be challenging at times. Occasionally, I need to forcefully tap it to get it to start. On other occasions, it starts right away. Overall, it tracks weight accurately, and the Garmin Connect integration consolidates all my information in one place.

Difficult adding users

Although I love the features it gives. It is very difficult to add users in the house hold. It will not let anyone else join to be added personally to the scale. They downloaded the app and have already accepted my request but still won’t connect them.

Only been using it for a week but the scale seems solid. As a Garmin guy I wanted something that automatically meshed with my watch. The pairing process was easy. As far as accuracy is concerned, I am not sure. Seems to be 5-6lbs different from my other scale I was using.

Works great!

Works as expected and uploads to the app quickly. Not too complicated… just works! I plan to use it to track weight and body composition trends over time and not stress about the exact accuracy of the body composition numbers. Weight is very accurate.
