The consistency of the paste out of the bottle is typical, and it foams nicely while brushing. It has a light minty flavor and leaves my mouth feeling fresh long after brushing. I have not experienced any discomfort when brushing, the taste and smell is great and it leaves my teeth leaving smooth and clean without feeling abrasive in any way. As for the whitening part, I do see a little different in the stains as I'm a daily coffee consumer but nothing beats an in office treatment.
