Gorgeous screen with a few quirks

This screen is a beauty. Very sharp, good colors and decent brightness. I hook it up to my PC for gaming and occasionally have some quirks. In the middle of a game it says no signal detected and shuts off. Sometimes it isn't detected by the PC. A few quirks with the PS5 too. Sometimes when I power on the TV it also turns on the PS5. Sometimes when I power on the PS5 the TV turns on too. Neither seems to be consistent. Needs and HBO Max app. Also needs to be able to disable inputs from the list like in previous Vizio models. All minor issues and possibly handled via software or firmware updates. The hardware is solid though.

Amazing upgrade, always with Vizio!

Coming from them-series 2017, the whole right side panel of led went out. It was time for and upgrade I was tossing between the oled and the pqx. I was able to get a killer deal for either and the firmware update made me gravitate to the oled. Long story short, this tv is amazing for a movie watcher that will utilize the hdr to it advantage, being able to have all the hdr formats this tv looks amazing in Dolby vision, hdr10 etc. Vrr still seems to be an issue and any word on the oled series getting freesync premium is my only hope. I hope this gets resolved because I love this tv a lot and would hate to have to return it because the firmware wasn't up to date for my new console or a computer.

Nothing but problems

Had to get the tv replaced within a month because it was constant problems until one day it just stopped coming on. Having a lot of the same problems with the new one. Half the time it cuts on then never comes on and I have to unplug it to get reset so it will come on. Sometimes when it comes on it's like it's pink tinted or green tinted across the whole screen. I've never bought anything other than Vizios I have four of them in my house but I will never buy another one. This is the first time I went all in and bought the best one and it's terrible.

Major improvement over LCD

Bought about a week ago. Colors and blacks are way more impressive than LCD. Had a really bad issue with the "soap opera effect" especially on satellite. But after about 4 days of adjusting the settings, I got about 95% of it cleared up. Seems the issue comes and goes now depending on how the programming was recorded.

Love / Hate Relationship

I love the pristine picture, with saturated accurate colors. However, I absolutely hate not being able to turn off the fluctuating luminance. The only thing that spoils a great review is the brightness that changes with how dark the screen is to increase contrast. The TV does not need it, and if I knew who the engineer was that omitted the off selection for this annoyance, I would offer him a Vizio necklace.

Great picture, confusing to turn on

I've had this TV for 3 weeks now, so far I really like the picture. it's hooked up to a vizio 2.1 sound bar. it is confusing when I 1st turn the TV on, I get the Vizio sign on the screen, a few moments later the picture comes on with the TV speakers, then the tv shuts off, a few seconds pass and he comes back on with the sidebar act of and everything is OK then don't understand why it goes off comes on goes off and comes back on

OLED Upgrade!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Vizio TV for years! My first was a “rescue” from a friend whose TV was broken. The onboard buttons were stuck in Volume up, so I just took out the chip set and bough a remote. Lasted me all through college! My second was refurbished and I still have it. 55' 4K LED, it's been future proof for years. Definitely not giving it up, but I have been jonesing for an OLED upgrade to game on and I found one, 65”, for a great price and could pass it up. Mounting was a breeze, not so heavy or unwieldy that my partner and I couldn't get it all setup in no time flat. My Xbox and PlayStation look more amazing than ever, and I'm excited to get back to the games! Couldn't be happier, I highly recommend Vizio to all my friends.

VIZIO - OLED 65”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tv was my first upgrade for OLED. All I can say is WOW! Has an incredible picture and lots of features. I mainly bought the TV because I had already bought two other Vizios for my house and this VIZIO OLED 65” replaced my 58” SAMSUNG LED and was better priced then Samsung.

Fantastic TV

I bought this a couple of weeks ago. Easy to install and set up. Fantastic picture! We love the smart cast and look forward to our elderly relatives coming over. We can FaceTime our loved ones and airplay it on the TV and everyone will be able to see.

Stunning Picture

About 10 years ago I purchased my first Vizio 54" just months after its release. It held up well until one day it just didnt turn on. Lights on, but no one is home, type of. So in the spirit of the shopping season i jumped at a another brand new Vizio product, this OLED 55". With its easy to mount, easy setup, the show just begins with its amazing ink black levels, beautiful imagery from its 1080P to its upscaling to 4k, to its true 4K Glory. Out of the box it had a firmware update. and then a week later another. the 2nd was a bit rude, as it occurred in the middle of a show without warning. I am using the amazing OLED with a brand new 4k reciever with eARC. So everying goes through the Amplifiter through a high end HDMI ARC certified cable to the TV's HDMI 1 (eArc). Most days its running fantastic and smooth as expected. Although, the TV has 2 behaviors that need adjusting, not sure if its me or a firmware update. They are: the screen goes blank when new input isnt supplied, ie your movie is paused. And you need to press the OK on the remote to wake it up. Having your show resume, doesnt do it. and the 2nd is that a few times now, the TV just doesnt see any input on HDMI 1, when clearly the Amplifier is sending signal. Looking forward to a future firmware to make this TV absolutely perfect!
