This is the 3rd set of this set of tires that I have purchased for this truck. All of them have given me more miles that the warranty will cover and the handling and comfort have always been top notch. I originally purchased them because i was told the noise was very low. This has been true, I hear very little road noise. That’s saying a lot because this truck has been driven across the country 3 times.

Tires are very quiet and smooth running. Any increase or decrease in mileage is yet to be determined. I bought these for extra load rating for towing a 5th wheel trailer. I am at this time experiencing death wobble and I am hoping the tires are not a contributing factor as I only have 19,000 miles on the truck.

This is a nice truck tire, but it is a truck tire. I can feel every bump and seam on the highway. It's noisy and unrefined, so I suppose this is a truck tire. I puchased a set for a 2018 Lincoln Navigator and the tires removed the luxury aspect of the vehicle. Thanks to Michelin's ride satisfaction promise, I was able to exchange the Defender LTX M/S2 for a set of CrossClimate2 SUV tires. The ride quality and noise is like night and day. Moving from a Highway All-Season (LTX) to a Grand Touring AS (CrossClimate) was the answer. I would not buy the LTX again for a luxury vehicle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Defender tires were such a great find. They are durable and strong. Also great quality. They look great on the car as well. I am looking forward to these new tires and will feel safe using them when driving my family.

I now have approx. 40,000 miles on a set of these. They are in all respects very good tires. The wear seems to be as expected, they are great on wet highways and relatively quiet although as all Michelins do, they seem to be getting noisier as they wear. What I don't like is they are as hard as rocks and with every pothole or manhole it feels like the front of the truck is getting torn off. I had the Primacy's prior to these and for us, they were a much better tire. I don't do a lot of heavy hauling and would prefer the softer ride. I think I'll be going back to the Primacy in the future.

Purchased these Defender LTX M/S2 little over a year ago, for my 2015 Chevy Silverado with 65K miles on the odometer. I have experienced all facets of weather conditions with these tires. Tires ride good for HIGHWAY applications. Tires ride good in the rain, but that is where it ends. Tires are very sloppy in the any amount of snow on the road. The tires are inflated to 35-psi, per Manufacture recommendations. The RIDE QUALITY is absolutely HORRIBLE. The tires ride so HARD that you feel EVERY bump and crevice in the road. Great on the HIGHWAY, but that's it. I have been purchasing Michelin products for 40-years and these are the worse I have ever had. I am very meticulous about products I purchase for my vehicles... safety and handling are always in the forefront. BUT RIDE QUALITY suffers greatly for these tires. Never had to give up on ride quality before, WHY NOW? Now my vehicles has rattles I've never had before! Michelin Team, please help!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Michelin DEFENDER® LTX M/S 2 from try it sampling. They came right in time for the weather cause my truck was in need of new tires. I feel a lot safer driving around in the rain with these tires. They’re good quality and performance is top tier. I would definitely recommend them.

Tires wore faster than should have. After alittle over 30000 miles on them will need replacing. Had rotations done on timely recommended times. These were my first tire type as I always ran the Michelins A/T before on my RAM and they all lasted. I now am researching other brands also, My driving habits at my age and keeping my Truck serviced don't warrant they should be worn so quickly, so frustrated at this point. No off road driving, most just highway or in town, only 1 tire had to be replaced after about 9 months after hitting large bolt. I did like the handling and quietness.

Big improvement over original factory tires. They seem to last longer too in her experience. I’m still new so time will tell for my set. It’s the only brand and line she’s been using for years on multiple cars

The X-Ice tires are just excellent. I've had several sets over the years living in Calgary. The winters here are no joke and these tires are super capable on both snow and ice, they wear nicely and they're super quiet. Can't say I've ever driven a better winter tire.
