I have 51000 miles on my f 150 truck tires Michelin 275/60r20. They look almost new with plenty of tread remaining. Smooth, noise free riding tire. No uneven wearing,no flats, always maintained air pressure. Rotated every 6,000 miles. Very pleased with performance.

One heck of a fantastic tire!

Mitch defender LTX MS2 A 75000 mile warranty. WOW!! The tread dept is totally awesome....The old bias ply L series tire is where you might come close to this tread depth. Instantly noticed a smoother ride and a lot more stability. Railroad tracks were lots better. Stopping distance is much shorter than with my previous tires.

When they have a michelin brand why would you go anywhere else.

bought the tires as a replacement for my 2019 Toyota? Tundra, 4 wheel drive tires are fantastic in the snow. Tires are very smooth. I used a decimal meter to compare the noise level with the previous set of tires. I had and they are quiet as a mouse plan to enjoy these tires for the next eighty thousand miles

Yes

Just couldn’t say enough. Paying a little bit more money upfront means a huge return later on down the road so to speak. My Michelin defender ones lasted 70,000 miles and we’re showing slight signs of cracking. The traction was still very good and if I had to, I could’ve pushed it another year. I had them rotated and balanced once about 40,000 miles ago, we’ve been across the country twice and I tow regularly. Just doubled down on a good thing then purchased the defender twos. Best of the best in my opinion. If there had to be one complaint with the first tire would be that it picked up small rocks on gravel surfaces. A very small price to pay, Along with the cost for this type of quality. The quiet, the ride quality, limited body roll, etc. I put them on my dad‘s car, on my wife’s Prius and on our work truck. Don’t get me started lol! I’ll never buy another brand of car tire again.

Best light truck tire on the market!

When ordering a new GMC, I read as many tire reviews as I could find. The Michelin Defender LTX M/S generation 2 was receiving rave reviews. After a lifetime of burning through all brands of tires on a variety of sports cars, trucks and passenger cars, experience has taught me to stick with Michelin. And these new Gen 2 offerings were the best performing truck tire for the road, bar none. They also had the best warranty. They are more than adequate for light off roading and boat ramps, but on the road are the smoothest and quietest tires I hae had on any truck. I’ve run everything, from road tires to All Terrains to Mud tires, even installing non radial tires on a swamp buggy I owned. (Safer when airing down for very rugged conditions off road-Florida is 90% sugar sand and like 10% mud, so All Terrains and M/S tires generally do better on most conditions. The ride after installing thee tires is WAY better than any others I’ve used. The tires are so quiet I initially was hesitant while towing. But the traction is excellent off road with the sipes on the side and the generally self cleaning tread. More importantly, handling in bad weather and wet braking are all excellent. High speed travel on the interstate is very quiet and composed, just like a passenger cars tire. The occasional road trash and a couple poorly laid curbs and damaged asphalt have caused no damage, as the tires stayed in balance and showed no punctures or cuts. I do make a point of rotating every oil change an remove any stuck gravel or debris every time I wash the truck. I have automotive engineers in the family who advise running 80% of the max pressure on the sidewall and this has yielded very long tread life. I have absolutely no complaints and when my youngest son returns from college I will be putting Defenders on his Nissan as well. These tires cost a little more than average but give you much longer tread life and superior handling and braking. There are many good tires on the market but Michelin generally excels in every category for most people. When in doubt, just get Michelin. There is a reason why my company only used Michelin on the truck fleet when I was i the trades. This particular model is another win for Michelin.

Confidence inspiring

These are not winter tires, these are not meant to replace winter tires BUT if you are like me and rock all seasons all year long- these are the tires you’re looking for. This past winter (in a pickup truck) I was able to slowly crawl down a slippery mountain road, I passed by over a dozen cars pulled over, 3 accidents, and watched someone lose control and graze the guardrail. I drove slowly and with extreme caution- but these tires never slipped once.

Smooth Quiet & Responsive

2018 4Runner do not buy these tires if you are looking for curb appeal. These tires are as plain jane, no cool factor or attitude at all. But they are quiet, smooth & responsive. I have driven in mud snow rain, no problem. I would say overall this tire checks 99.9% of what you want out of a tire. The toyota avalon of tires lol not pretty buy super solid

Not worth the money

Was excited to try out some Michelin tires on my Yukon. Went for an oil change and a tire rotation other day, mechanic told me he couldn’t rotate them because they were completely wore out!!! And it would not pass MVI!!! I went with the defenders because it had the best rating, unfortunately for the amount of money I paid I got half the life span out of them compared to the Bridgestone I had on it before, sometimes the reviews get it wrong, definitely did in my case, they were wore out after a year with next to no mileage and would not keep air.

The inside rim truck has a vibration now it didn’t help by moving the weights to a different place from the inside rim to the outside would not recommend this tire vibration of seats are shaking was not like this before about the tires had original tires bought the truck new Has never been wrecked. Wheels are not bent just poor quality tire they’re telling me this is normal.
