[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been meaning to change my tires for some time now. I stumbled upon Michelin tires and I don’t regret it. The tires fit perfectly on my car, and it feels really good driving with them. I have no complains so far and I hope these tires will serve me well.

I was hoping these tires were as good as the previous ones, but I was wrong. These tires are louder and seem to inhibit more road vibration. I have had them balanced again but they still have an issue. The previous LTX Defenders I had were smooth had hardly any road noise and felt more sure footed. This comparison is after the 50 or 60k miles I had on the old ones, up until the day I swapped them out. I don't know who they paid to design these tires but I would hope they get rid of them and find the old team that designed the previous generation tire. The only thing I can say that is about the same is the gas mileage. So I will give a 1 star for at least keeping one aspect of the tire the same. Please get back to being the Michelin brand that used to mean something. I will definitely save my money next time and get a different brand at half the price, it surely couldn't be any worse.

The good: quite, lateral motion good for turning, generally a responsive tire The bad: wonders while driving on concrete that is grooved in parallel direction of travel. Never had tire do this. Can’t imagine this passed any serious road test. Snow traction is terrible. In less than 2” of snow my truck was sliding through turns at 5 mph and got loose going over a bridge. Too bad the first snow came 90 days from purchase or these tires would go back. Looking for different tires now

Just bought 4 Michelin Defender LTX M/S 2 very good looking tires, sold me on the 2 years extra treadwear and other features, they was not kidding, handing on the road and comfortable quiet ride on the highway, grip the road no problem it meet the task

Just had them installed and I am very impressed by the smooth ride and how they handle the streets with such ease. Definitely going to continue to purchase products.

I HAVE BEEN A MICHELIN CUSTOMER FOR YEARS AND HAVE HAD MANY SETS OF DEFENDER LTX TIRES . ALWAYS PLEASED WITH THE RIDE AND COMFORT OF THE TIRES. THIS IS MY FIRST SET OF DEFENDER LTX M/S 2'S. TIRES CAN'T BE BALANCED AND LOPE WHEN DRIVING. DEALER HAS SAID THERE IS NOTHING ELSE THEY CAN DO. IF I CAN'T GET ANY RESOLUTION FROM MICHELIN I WILL TAKE THEM OFF AFTER ONLY 5000 MILES OF USE AND SWITCH TO COOPER. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THESE NEW 2 SERIES TIRES. HELP MICHELIN AS I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR DECADES.

This is the 3rd set of this set of tires that I have purchased for this truck. All of them have given me more miles that the warranty will cover and the handling and comfort have always been top notch. I originally purchased them because i was told the noise was very low. This has been true, I hear very little road noise. That’s saying a lot because this truck has been driven across the country 3 times.

I now have approx. 40,000 miles on a set of these. They are in all respects very good tires. The wear seems to be as expected, they are great on wet highways and relatively quiet although as all Michelins do, they seem to be getting noisier as they wear. What I don't like is they are as hard as rocks and with every pothole or manhole it feels like the front of the truck is getting torn off. I had the Primacy's prior to these and for us, they were a much better tire. I don't do a lot of heavy hauling and would prefer the softer ride. I think I'll be going back to the Primacy in the future.

I bought them 5 months ago and put 6663 miles on them so far. They are quiet and sturdy giving me complete confidence that they will provide more miles than what they are rated for (70,000). I put them on a 2017 Lexus GX460. They destroyed my MPG ~30%. I still love them!
