Olay Ultimate Sensitive Colloidal Oatmeal Skin Protectant Moisturizer is one of the newest additions to Olay's long history of producing tried and true skincare products for years. This one though, had me scratching my head a bit. It's obviously targeted towards sensitive skin since Colloidal Oatmeal is its main active ingredient. Yet, that's it's only active ingredient. Sure, Oatmeal is great for treating eczema, bug bites, skin rashes and irritations. To put it on your face under your makeup or as a nighttime cream without any of the ingredients people look for in their face creams makes me have to pass on this one unfortunately. It just doesn't have what I expected Olay to provide in a facial cream. As for using it for just skin irritants, I'm not sure about that either. It doesn't even provide enough of a product that would need to be reapplied numerous times a day for those issues. Sorry guys, this just doesn't meet my needs this time.

It is made for sensitive skin and is fragrance free. It is an attractive product with a glass jar and a silver lid . The product inside is white and creamy. Despite being fragrance free it has a very, very light scent of rose to me. Applying this Moisturizer is a treat for the senses. It goes on smooth and is soothing on my sensitive facial skin. It soaks into the skin with no greasy after-effects. I applied this Olay Moisturizer in the morning before applying makeup and also at night after washing my face. My skin loves this stuff! It is softer and more supple than before. I even got a compliment on my "beautiful skin" after only two days of usage. I recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin who is looking for an excellent Moisturizer. This Olay Ultimate Protectant was not greasy and did not promote any oiliness or acne blemishes. I think even people that do not have sensitive skin would love this product.

It seems to be a good product, but I can't see myself using it on my whole face every day/night, I feel it would be better as a spot treatment such as areas that are dry and itchy.
