Delivery was very disappointing.
This item was shipped and arrived in terrible condition. It was put into 2 boxes cut and taped to fit, which it really didn't. The handle was sticking out and terribly scratched and the plastic mop part that the pad goes on to was bent in a u shape. No possible way I can mop with that unless I want to mop about 2 inches at a time...flip it over and you can only mop about an inch or so on each side, leaving the middle untouched unless you put a lot of pressure on it...but then how long is the handle going to hold up till it breaks? I went to the store, bought one and it works wonderful...just don't have it delivered.

This is my second O cedar mop. Both have leaked terribly. I love the concept but it's just not working. I even recieved a coupon to get a new one and I'm done. I spend more money in solutions (even diy's) that spill everywhere. I'm switching to a USA made Libman mop.

Great mop bigger than expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I filled my tank with Lysol and it did a great cleaning job while making the room smell great. I do have a steam mop but I can't use chemicals in it. I actually like this better. Picks up everything on the floor without scrubbing. Then trigger is easy to spray and covers a large area. It is the right length and has a rubber grip in the middle, I'm assuming it is for scrubbing, even though it makes it great to turn upside down to take off the pad. The pad is heavy Velcro on one corner which keeps the pad on securely but also makes it easy to wash and replace. Pad has a heavy nylon lining to last a long time. The only thing I found negative for me is the width of the pad. It could be a little smaller for my use, I don't have any large floors without carpet. If you have a large floor area this would be great. I would recommend this to anyone who wants something better than a standard mop. Easy to use, you get a great clean, and no mess.
More than just a floor duster
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] More thorough than swiffing. You can actually clean with this. It'll dust fine too, picking up pet hair with ease. It's already been used in every room that doesn't have carpet. We did the dog room last & tossed the pad in the washer. A little struggle to get it back on, but more of a matter of "this goes here" than shrinkage. One of the first things you will notice on this, is the head is wide, nice & wide. The spray comes out ahead of the pad in a pretty good pattern. I added 2 tablespoons of cleaner & filled the bottle up with warm tap water. I didn't have any issues with leakage & the mop only took 3 sprays to get started from dry. I was concerned that it was going to be a hard pump, but it was rather easy to spray. I like not needing a separate bottle of cleaner or touch up, when cleaning. It can be right on the mop. I really like how easily the head pivots & rotates because this makes cleaning much better, & certainly faster. It cleans & dries in one motion, unless you really soak the pad. With this you can do proper S swipes across the floor, as well as just back & forth & down. I like that the head is washable & I don't have to buy boxes of wipes to throw into the garbage. Not only does the head pivot & swivel, it turns over & gives you a whole other side to keep going. I also really like that I can use my own cleaning solution, that is I'm not stuck to one preferred type or brand that I don't use. Hardwood, laminate, tile, linoleum, even the ancient linoleum in the dog room was cleaned very easily, with out hard scrubbing or buffing. Not that any area was filthy, it didn't take any real effort to use the O Cedar ProMist Max Spray Mop & it didn't scratch nor scuff the floor. I have had many O-Cedar items in the past, & hope to have this one a long time. It feels very sturdy & looks to be well made. I'm not hard on the mops, we just use them often. The others just seem to die an early death.
Not Impressed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this O-Cedar ProMist Max Spray Mop. I found that the Spray mop to be extremely difficult and frustrating to use. The instructions were not clear or easy to follow. The plastic microfiber pad holder kept coming off the handle. I have arthritis in both hands and had to have help putting the holder back on the handle, not a very good design. The water container was also really awkward to remove from spray mop an fill with water, then replace back on spray mop. The water that comes out of the container when using over sprays the desired area to be cleaned. Unless you have the handle straight up then push the spray button it will spray on that desired area. The first time using it, I used just tap water it left lots of water streaks through out my flooring which is ceramic tile. The second time using it I used distilled water same thing lot's of streaks. I had to get my Shark Steam Cleaner out to remove all the water streaks. What I did like about the spray mop I was able to get under some furniture without having to move them. It also cleaned a large wide area in one sweep. It did clean the floor of leftover debris, I used a Swiffer with a dry cloth before using the spray mop. The handle is to heavy and the bottom plastic holder is to wide to hang in the utility broom closet with all the other long handle cleaning items, so it will be stored in the garage. In the end unfortunately O-Cedar ProMist Max Spray Mop didn't make my life easier.
I like it !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure there's a lot to say about spray mops - they're pretty much alike these days. They allow you to mix up your favorite cleaner, spray it on the floor, and lightly mop up the results. No cords, no batteries, no exotic mechanics or electronics to go awry. The PRO's for this unit: - It (like most others) is lightweight and easy to push/pull/carry/store. - The wrap-around handle makes it a bit easier to push/pull than the straight handle varieties. - The mop pad is quite large and textured, making the cleaning process a bit more vigorous than some others. - The problem reported in earlier reviews (where the mop head came loose from the wand) has apparently been fixed - the connection is quite solid. (See the photo) - The tank (unlike one I previously owned) allows air to reenter after cleaning solution is pumped out - preventing a super vacuum buildup from crushing the tank. - The spray emitted is reasonable in spread and amount - not too little, not too much. - Perhaps the most noteworthy feature is the fact that the pad has two sides and can be flipped over while in use providing a clean AND dry scenario without changing pads. The CON's: - The only (very minor) con is the strength required to "pull the trigger" for spraying cleaning fluid. If you're doing a very large area (requiring the entire tank of fluid) you will probably have a tired finger when you're done. But that's a small price to pay for a really decent spray mop. In fact, it might even be an indication that the spray mechanism is built to last. Bottom line, I like it, and yes, I would definitely recommend it to others.
Not for me!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I have ever used this type of spray style mop like the OCedar ProMist Max Microfiber Spray Mop. The refillable bottle just pops out with the push of the button and is easy to fill with your cleaning solution and snap right back in to the mop. The mop head rotates 180 degrees so you can mop on both sides of the microfiber cover and it is removable so you can wash it without having to buy costly replacements like some spray mops on the market. They also say that you can wash it 100 times. Not sure about that one at this time. The spray head does a great job spraying out your solution in a very nice spray pattern with a very easy pull of the trigger. But after using it I have to say that it is a very good upper body work out. I'm not sure why anyone would want a dry mop with a spray bottle on it, (it just makes no sense to me). And after mopping my laminate floors, it left streaks all over and with the amount of effort that I had to put in to this type of mopping system, I will be sticking to the OCedar Easy Wring Spin Mop and Bucket System. But if you have a need for this type of mop, don't let what I say bother you. I'm an old fashion type of guy and it's just not for me. I hope this helps you in some way. Good luck,
