[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The easiest way to break down this mop is what I did and did not like: Like: Easy to use Quick No additional components to buy - you can use any cleaner Washable floor pad Lightweight Feels sturdy Good length for easy strides Did not Like: No scrubbers on the floor pad so not good for scrubbing Sprayer needs to be pumped continuously and this can get tiring on a large floor Sprayer is a little too powerful and cleaner gets on baseboards, appliance, etc Handle is too large to hang the mop, so you have no choice but to prop it somewhere Overall, its Okay. It isn't expensive and it's a good alternative to the kinds that need pre purchased we pads. It did an okay job of getting the dirt off the floor but I will continue to use my regular steamer for regular cleaning and keep this for quick messes.

I like that I am able to spray as much cleaner on the floor also. One con is that if you are pressing too hard to get a spot off the floor that sometimes the mop head comes loose from the mop handle. Otherwise there are two sides to the mop head, so it is possible to get the floor clean without rinsing the mole head.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mop reminded me of something I have used in the past. O-Cedar Pro mist spray mop offers a washable mop instead of refill sheets. So, that is a plus if you want to save money. The mist is controlled by the handle and offers a light spray to clean a quick spill. I would hate to use this to clean my entire apartment. More than likely, the reservoir would require multiple refills to clean a two bedroom home during one mopping session. Unfortunately, I did not fall in love with this mop because I could not make the mop as wet as I wanted. I would run into the issue of an over saturated mop onside. The mop flips, so you can use the other side to dry. However, the concern is that the opposite side would become too wet from wiping the wet floor. The directions suggested using two teaspoons of cleaning solution. It was not enough solution in my opinion. I could not smell the solution as I cleaned. Ultimately, I added more cleaning solution because I enjoy the fresh smell as I clean. I recommend this for quick clean ups of wet messes, small studio or dorm room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the package it is very easy to set up. Mop attachment just clips on. The container for your choice of cleaning fluids is already attached. We have about 300 square feet of ceramic tile in our kitchen and dining area, so something simple to clean that area is a big plus. We have used the Swiffer mops in the past, but the amount of fluid spray is limited. Also, you end up buying new pads for the Swiffer quite often. This mop has a large reusable surface. It covers much more area on every pass and is a bit more robust for those stubborn spots or stains. Once it gets dirty you just throw it in the wash. We have used it numerous times already for light cleanups and also to apply wax to the tile after cleaning. A couple of the big pros for this mop are that you can use whatever cleaning fluid you want. It also swivels very well to get into those hard to reach areas. So far my wife and I really like it. Time will tell how long the mop head lasts, but it seems pretty durable. For hard floors I would say this is a good buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to use a regular Swiffer mop without the spray mist. I like this so much better and it has a larger surface area mop head to clean. What I really like about his is that it has the reservoir that I can fill with any liquid, not just water, to clean my floors. I can use a cleaner with a scent of my choice and after cleaning my floors, my house smells fresh and clean and my floors LOOK clean which is what is really important. It takes very little effort because of the size of the mop head to clean a good amount of space. I did have to refill the reservoir a second time to get my whole living room and kitchen clean but I don't always use the mop with the mist. Sometimes I just use it to dry clean when my floors are just dusty and need a quick clean up. Then I just take off the microfiber cloth and toss it in the washing machine, it gets like new and I put it back on the mop No more paying for refills for the mop! It will take some time to see how many times I can wash the microfiber before it breaks down but for now, I have been using this mop in place of my old Swiffer and I do love the wet mop part because of how nice and clean my kitchen smells when I use a cleaner product in the spray part.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are advantages and disadvantages to the O-Cedar floor mop compared to others I have used. A big cost savings feature is you don't have to buy prefilled solution bottles; just use 2 teaspoons of any concentrated cleaner and fill the container up with water, and snap the container onto the mop handle. Also, the mop is cloth and can be thrown into the washing machine (lay flat to dry). A convenience feature is the mop portion folds up flat against the body of the mop, so it doesn't take a lot of room in whatever area you store it. One disadvantage is there isn't a scrubby feature to the pad; stuck on messes would have to be cleaned by another method or soaked for a bit to loosen. Also, if I have a big mess to clean up, I'd rather throw away the pad then deal with washing it (refills are available to buy). The mop did a decent job cleaning a tiled kitchen floor, and there was no stickiness afterwards. The spray comes out in a concentrated area, which I like because it gives me more control over what gets wet. This is definitely a good addition to my cleaning tools.

I love clean floors, and with white tile through 80% of my house, it is incredibly handy. There is no discernible learning curve for the first use. The generous mist sprayer is so very handy. Previously, it was necessary to carry a spray bottle with me as I cleaned the floors unless I was just dusting. When it is wet or a pollen season, just dusting is not enough. The flat bottom canister removes with the touch of a button and sits upright for filling. Bleach and microfiber don't mix so it gets a vinegar and water mixture as a disinfectant. The container is compact enough to fit under about any faucet for filling but large enough to allow a good amount of square footage to be mopped. The flipping microfiber mop head is a worthwhile feature as well. Not having to buy special pads or solutions is a space saving, time saving and money saving bonus. It is light weight and fits nicely on my door rack which holds the broom and other necessary cleaning items. It may be possible to eliminate some of the ones previously thought to be indispensable. You may consider giving up your mop and bucket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this mop! It has a wonderful wipe pad that does great against the baseboard. We have no carpet in our home. All hard wood or tile and this Mop does a great job. There is a thick roll in the wipe pad on the edge where it wraps around the mop fixture. That thick roll works for getting against the baseboard and around corners and such. The spray feature is great because it sprays just the right amount of moisture on the floor so that it leaves little or none behind after the wipe. The only reason for the 4 stars over 5 is the length of the handle. It is long. When we first saw it we assumed it was adjustable. It isn't and possibly due to the mechanism that sprays the moisture it can't be, I don't know but it is too long for short people. My wife is 5 foot nothing and she was able to use it but she said it would be easier if the handle were a little shorter or adjustable. She also mentioned the weight together with the long handle might be an issue for the elderly.

The good points are it is easy to set up out of the package, you can use your own cleaning solution in the reservoir, and if you are environmentally conscious you can reuse the cleaning pad after laundering. The bad points far outweigh the good. The mop moves dirt around on the floor. It does not seem to pick up much in the mop head. The mop head gets dirty fast and you would have to pull it off and launder half way through a larger room. The mop head kept detaching when I would manipulate it to get into the corner of the room. The way the mop is created, you only have pressure in the center of the mop head. You will not get the benefit of the mop head's width since there is no pressure all the way to the edges without the mop head detaching frequently. I would not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product for floor cleaning. This is so much better than a messy, dripping electric steamer! The unit came in an attractive box with easy instructions. Easy to put together, attach the handle and put the sponge in place. It comes with a plastic container for water and any cleaning product of your choice. I fill the plastic bottle to the clearly marked fill line and add two teaspooons of my cleaning product, (also indicated on the bottle so I won't forget). I snap the water bottle with cleaning product in place onto the pole and it is ready to go to work. No need to wet my hands, no fuss, no mess. The microfiber sponge cleaning cloth is amazing! It cleans and picks up everything, everywhere! I adjust the nozzle height on the sprayer by simply lifting or lowering the pole as I pull the easy to spray handle. It releases a wonderful mist, enough to wet the desired area, it does not over soak the floors ever. Because of the rectangular sponge design I reach all corners and crevices. Best of all, after using one side of the sponge, I can flip it to use the second side of the sponge without touching the dirty sponge. Once finished I simply dispose of the remaining liquid, open the Velcro on the microfiber sponge, remove it and toss it into the washing machine but no need to put it in the dryer. I put it back on the unit and allow it to air dry. I am already recommending it to my friends, family and coworkers. Actually, we can use one at the office too. I highly recommend this O'Cedar ProMist Max Microfiber Spray Mop.
