However, it still feels pretty limited, and some of the features feel very seizure inducing. They do light up the whole porch very well, though.

The remote gives you so many color choices and lighting effect options and these are durable enough to be used outside. Not only that, but they are also expandable by simply screwing on another set of lights.

Rain,water or snow resistant and they come with a couple extra as well. Gonna buy a couple more sets.very easily worth the money.

They look amazing as well when hung and are super easy to spool back up when not in use. First thing to note is that the colors periodically rotate on these lights ever few seconds. There is a switch that turns them on and off attached to the power plug. The lights themselves are thick plastic and have a durable plastic coating as well. They’re built to last through adverse weather and I have no reason to believe these won’t last through a few seasons of use. You get an extra two bulbs in the box which I thought was a really nice touch. I overall really like these. They easy to hang, well made and look great. What more could you ask for?

While installation was easy and hassle-free, the lights themselves didn’t live up to the “color-changing” promise. The hues are mostly on the blueish side, and the preset color options are pretty limited—not exactly what I was expecting for something marketed as customizable. One thing worth noting is that the cable itself has lights embedded in it, which might be great for wrapping around trees but doesn’t work as well for other setups where you'd want the lights to stand out more. Overall, they’re functional but not as versatile or aesthetically pleasing as I had hoped. I’m giving them 3 stars because they do light up, but the lack of customization and odd color choices left me wanting more

Installation is so easy just plug and turn on. I like that you can use a remote or manually turn on and change modes. Even the string lights up that makes it very different from other lights.
