However, I wish it was healthier for them and had fewer by-product etc ingredients that dont need to be in there and give the impression of feeding the cats junk.

Now I have to purchase cat food less often because im getting more food in this bag then the last bag I bought that was six pounds less. And the price was not a whole lot more then the smaller bag. This is a good option to give your adult cats to give them a break from their regular food. It's a nice combination with protein from chicken and beef as well as vegetables cats require in their diet.
