Replaced OEM Good Years on my 2021 Ram 1500 Crew Cab. The Defender LTX MS tires are awesome! Smooth ride and soaKs up bumps like a champ. Great traction I'd dry and wet. When new tHere was a little more tire squirm in turns compared to good years but very minor. The ride qUality improvement makes truck feel like luxury car. Also seeing improvement in mpg. Jumped from average of 26 MPG to 27 to 28 mpg on same route.

I have used the defender tires for years on my vehicles and love them in every way. Bought a chev pu and the tires were still good, but did not like them and had to replace with these defender tires , could not wait the other tires were loud and did not drive as nice. I will only use michelin tires. My spouse does think it makes that much difference but it does.

I like the handling of these tires and they certainly were way more durable than the original tires on my Honda CR-V but this 90,000 mile treadwear warranty approaches hoax level. It won't benefit you unless you drive over 15,000 miles per year or more. Even if you rotate your tires BY AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER every designated period AND have that adequately documented, consider that it might take you longer than the warranty period to drive beyond the tire's ACTUAL lifespan. For me that was about 50,000, but it took me over 6 years to do it, and so out of warranty. Read the fine print - you also have to have PERFECTLY worn tires.

The prior generation of these tires were awesome. Absolutely loved them. Quiet, durable, and long lasting. Bought these thinking that I would get the same service and quality. But I have to say that I can't stand them because they absolutely ROAR going down the highway. They are the loudest set of tires I have ever owned. I have owned off-road tires that don't make as much noise as these. If the amount of noise these tires make rolling down the highway matters to you, DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES! I wish I could get my money back...

Long time Michelin fan. 2 months ago we had Defenders installed on our 2017 Ram 1500 and compared to the worn OEM tires, these are very quiet. One concern (or complaint) is that on gravel roads, they pick up and throw rocks… a lot more than any tire I've ever owned. I may have to swap these if I determine the rocks are causing damages.

I was actually thinking about the comfort and the smooth ride I get with these Tires and I like them enough to buy again. The cracking and appearance of My old one's is rushing Me, I'm only at 50% or maybe 40% tread, I would be able to get another Season or 2 at least.....it'd be worth the money then.

We drive the 1250 Km back and forth to Florida each year. How many times on the I75 did I say ‘thank you Michelins' when swerving around tire debris, road kill and pot holes, at 80 mph. Thankfully, conditions were good. But they are the best tires I can buy. Again, ‘thank you Michelins'.

I have been driving on these new tires for a month or so. I expected good grip and a nice ride and they delivered. I was pleasantly surprised how stable they feel. My old tires had a more aggressive tread and they felt mushier on the road. since almost all of my driving is on the read. These tires were the perfect choice.

I bought 4 tires on 12/11/18 for my Toyota Tacoma. These replaced a set of LTX MS 2 tires that had about 72k miles on them. I have a lot of history with Michelin tires between our two vehicles and I always had great success with them. But this set has really disappointed me so far. I had the tires mounted and balanced and on the way home I experienced a noticeable shudder. I took the truck right back to the dealership and they balanced all 4 tires again but to no avail. Another set of 4 tires were ordered and installed and I still had the problem. The dealer ended up measuring the runout (roundness) of every tire and found two tires from the first set and one from the second set that did not roll true. So, from the eight tires, he found 4 that rolled true and put them on the truck. That took care of the problem. How fortunate I was to have a dealer who was patient and truly interested in giving me a good product. I had to go back to the dealer 4 times to get it right and the dealer had to eat the labor cost for the last 3 trips. I sure hope this is not a sign of how well these tires will perform over the long haul. Really disappointed in Michelin quality control on this one.

I have this tire on a 2000 F350 Superduty with a super cab. Every tire I've had on the front of this truck has been toast by 35,000. Terrible feather on the side treads, just worn out. I have 39,000 on the Defenders and they are in great shape with even treadware all the way across. Only half way.
