DISCUSTING

These cheeseballs have no flavor whatsoever, are hard as rocks with sand like fillers in each one. They have no cheese powder on them at all, just some kind of orange color which has no taste, let alone cheese. Priced entirely too high!! I wouldn't pay 50 cents for these as they are very DISCUSTING!! The only reason I gave it a 1 star is so I could warn other consumers of this uneatable product. Each ball is as hard as a rock, has sand like fillers that get stuck in your teeth like little rocks

big barrel of yummy

It's hard to tell looking at the pictures, but this is a pretty large barrel of cheese balls. They are really good eating too. I love them and so does my dog! The barrel is most excellent because you get them shipped to you without being smashed like what happens with bagged snacks. I've found a lot of ways to repurpose this barrels once they are empty too. They work great as a dog food container and many other uses as well.

Absolutely Delicious!

I don't normally care much for cheese puffs/balls; I ordered some Pirate's Booty not too long ago and I was very underwhelmed. These, on the other hand, are delectably delicious and often difficult to put down. I highly recommend you try these out if you enjoy cheesy snacks.

"the best" and no MSG !!!

A jar of these is pretty often standard in our house, unless we have to hide them from children which tend to leave the orange salty powder on everything they touch! Walmart and Walmart.com seem to be the absolute best price for these, too. This is a 28oz container, whereas our nearby FLion has the 23oz container for nearly the same price or on sale for $4.99 which is still more expensive ounce-per-ounce than this container. Our local $TreeStore has Wise cheese balls, which taste good and have maybe slightly more crunch, but they have MSG and most everyone here is sensitive to MSG. I use the empty containers for plants and for something akin to a mini terrarium. I drill a few small drainage holes in the bottom in case of water overfill. I currently have two with basil growing, another with Malabar Spinach, and a few others. I just keep the top on. The only down-side is that those purple tops tend to crack, or even break in half by the time the container is empty. Hopefully Utz can remedy this if they get enough complaints!

The best available.

Years ago Planter's Cheese Balls were the best snack food on the planet. For some reason they stopped making them. I have tried many others over the years. Utz Cheese Balls are the only brand that match the memories of them. These are the best cheese balls available.

Great product, but does not ship well

I love Utz cheese balls in their large barrel. They probably won't allow this review because I have to tell you Sam's is probably not the best place to buy them because: 1) At least 2 national chains have them for almost $1 cheaper, ALL the time. 2) The ones in the Sam's store nearest to me don't get p[roper stock rotation. They sell a lot of these and frequently the ones in Sam's store only have 2-3 weeks left on "Best BY" date while my usual source they always have 10-12 weeks left. Or more. 3) If I order them shipped they not only are usually short date, but also are 85% likely to be open before arrival, i.e. the box is full of loose cheese balls and the barrel is uncapped, and probably smashed. And yet the shipping box may not show damage, other than balls leaking out....

UTZ cheese balls

I absolutely love these cheese balls. They have wonderful flavor and since I'm on Weight Watchers, I can have a good sized portion for only 5 points. They make one of my favorite snacks. I would recommend them for anyone who loves a good cheesy flavor

Ummmm...Cheesy!

These are great, and presently at $ .21 cents per ounce, they're a great value! If Cheetos were this price per ounce, they'd be $1.68/bag. Cheetos puffs are $2.98 for 8 ounces! These Utz Cheese Balls are every bit as good (if not better than) Cheetos Puffs!
