This has been a five star exp from the start. Great communication with the shipper. The detailed instructions were easy to follow. All the parts were there and every aligned perfectly making assembly easy. It did take us a couple of days but the end results exceed our expectations.

I bought the Saxony XL grill gazebo two years ago and assembled it by myself. If you are assembling it by yourself, I recommend assembling the roof on the top, unlike I did… This has withstood two winters in New England, with a lot of snow last winter. The Cedar wood remains very strong, clean (as advertised), and the overall product is very durable. This gazebo provides a really enjoyable way to cook in the outdoors without an outdoor kitchen. I recommend this to anyone looking for a nice entertainment/grilling area with the right space for it.

We bought this for our deck as we needed a bit of shade. It is absolutely perfect! We aren't that handy at putting things together but we accomplished it and are actually still married!!😂 It is very sturdy and just the right amount of shade we needed!

I bought this gazebo 3 months ago. I absolutely love it!!! It keeps us out of the summer sun and the rain. The size is big enough that we have 2 matching patio tables under it for entertaining a crowd. We hung a 72 bulb string of solar lights all around the outside of all 4 sides and on every roof beam underneath for night time use. We did coat it with a clear waterproof and UV proof coating as recommended in the owners manual, to protect it from water damage and turning gray. Cedar will turn gray and weathered looking if not protected. I would highly recommend purchasing this gazebo! You will live it!!

We are so happy with this purchase! It is extremely well made and everything fit together perfectly. There were extra bolts, nuts and washers of every size. We had 4 people to help assemble and it was completed in about 4 hours. Though doable, I think would be difficult for 2 people to do this so I would recommend at least 3. I also added a coat of stain before assembly and it is beautiful.

We bought the 12x24 version a few months ago and with only one hiccup of missing boards, which were promptly sent out to us, this went up so smoothly and is absolutely beautiful! Only suggestion is to make sure you use washers with all of the screws or you will have leaks! Overall, we were so happy with it, that when we saw the smaller version, we bought it to place our grill and smoker under and it's fantastic!! The quality and craftsmanship of the material is top notch! Highly recommend if you want to add outdoor living space!!

Great product at a reasonable price! Make sure to read and follow instructions to the T. That made assembly very easy. Also do yourself a favor and pre stain the entire gazebo before you put together. Looking forward to may years of enjoyment

We bought the Saxony XL Grill Gazebo in July and due to vacations and other projects finally got it assembled and water sealed. It turned out beautiful and we are still trying to decide what lights we might want to add. It really adds character to our small space. As you can see in the picture we had to make some modifications due to the fact we Muslims have measured wrong somewhere. We had to put the little side bars inside but it still looks great and it works for us. Theo whole gazebo is very solid and I couldn't ask fo ag better plan. This review is actually of our XL Saxony Grill pergola…just finally finished installing last week. The pergola was easy to put together. Instructions were very clear, and 3d view was very helpful. My wife and I put as much as possible together in preparation for our sons joining us to connect the four posts and add the roof…it now houses our original outdoor kitchen. It is our 2nd Backyard Discovery pergola (you can see in the picture, behind the Saxony XL, our Arcadia Pergola, which we use primarily for concerts and movies). We bought our grill gazebo about a month ago and were able to put it together this weekend. It took us about six hours. Most parts lined up well, some needed “coaxing”. Overall we are very pleased with the results and love the way it looks on our patio. It is our second outdoor structure from Backyard Discovery.
