This review is actually of our XL Saxony Grill pergola…just finally finished installing last week. The pergola was easy to put together. Instructions were very clear, and 3d view was very helpful. My wife and I put as much as possible together in preparation for our sons joining us to connect the four posts and add the roof…it now houses our original outdoor kitchen. It is our 2nd Backyard Discovery pergola (you can see in the picture, behind the Saxony XL, our Arcadia Pergola, which we use primarily for concerts and movies). Don't think twice, this is an excellent product, easy to install. I'm 62 years old and did the entire project by myself except for assistance lifting the roof. After completing the build I added a few extras. Added a full double sided back pannel and then built two cabinets beside my blackstone grill. Last was power and lights. This was an amazing product for a 19th hole 110 yard par 3 and oversized putting green.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sturdy and well built! Easy to follow instructions. Quality control is very good. Extra screws and bolts. And if you need touch up stain to fix minor scratches or marks they are happy to send it to you. I would definitely it from them again. If you live in a windy area this is the Gazebo for you.

We bought this a month ago and love it, added a run off gutter, installed a TV, installed patio lights, and started to decorate with signs, clock, ceiling fan, etc. Its real sturdy and anchored to the patio concrete. Would recommend to anyone considering a good product to purchase the Backyard Acadia.

Love our new gazebo! Great quality and it looks so nice! Also very impressed with Backyard Discovery! Great customer service. The first one we ordered was going to be a few inches too big. The boxes were unopened so they had it picked up and returned at no charge, and processed our refund promptly! Their installation cost is also very reasonable, after getting other quotes. Very impressed with the company and the product, which is difficult to find these days. Great experience all around!

Great quality! Follow the instructions and recruit a few friends. It took two days at a steady pace for two seniors. Thrilled that a few extra pieces of hardware were included “just in case”. A play structure for the grandkids might be the next purchase.

Quality is very good. Looks great! Assembly is best with 2 people and takes a few hours. Polyurethane all wood parts first. Everyone who has seen it wants one! I put it adjacent to the Backyard Discovery Norwood. Wish they would fit together without a gap.

I bought and assembled my grill gazebo earlier this month. The kit was very well packed and came with all the necessary hardware including some extras! The directions were fairly easy to follow but you need to pay attention to the details in the pictures. I found it easier to build the roof structure and mount it before installing the roof panels. It was much lighter to lift with two people. Once installed, we added the roof panels one by one using two ladders. The gazebo looks great and is very functional. I have both my pellet grill/smoker and BBQ side by side under the gazebo!!

I purchased this Gazebo a few months ago…what a beautiful and sturdy Gazebo…well worth the money…I had a handy man put it up…it definitely need two people to put this Gazebo up…I love the rustic look and cedar color…My next project is to put in a fire pit just outside the Gazebo. This Gazebo was a steal.

I’m very satisfied with my purchase. All the hardware and instructions made it very easy to assemble. The cuts are perfect fit and the quality is great. Best of all my wife and kids love it and enjoy it and I can grill anytime and my family can enjoy lounging on our free time.
