They Work!

These batteries are advertised as having a shelf life of 12 years. The ones Sam's Club shipped to me expire in 10 years. Apparently Sam's is shipping old inventory to members. We pay for Plus specifically to avoid driving 30 minutes (each way) to the store for non-perishable items, like batteries. We're not paying that extra fee to have the warehouse dump its old inventory on us. These are AA batteries that we use often, so I'm not going to bother returning them. It's very likely we'll use them all up in 10 years anyway. But dumping old inventory on customers who get items shipped or delivered is definitely not a good way to retain Plus members. They also came in a set of "minis" with 4 batteries in each little box. The photo of the item we ordered, however, showed a single package with 48 batteries. It was annoying having to open a dozen little boxes to put all 48 batteries into my Battery Daddy. I ordered the single pack of 48 batteries for a reason.

I purchased these batteries for multiple uses throughout the school. Teachers need quality batteries for calculators, STEM equipment, etc.
