Batteries
Jewels2157 - 1 out of 5 stars review1/28/2026I bought a 48 pack to light my Christmas decorations that were on timers. Literally most have them have leaked or started to expand in my items and ruined them. I had to throw window candles away because these batteries ruined them.
Bad batteries
GD - 1 out of 5 stars review5/9/2026Purchased these in club, expiration 2030 and they are corroding in the package after sitting on the shelf for a year. Contacted Energizer 3 times with no response. Never buying Energizer products again.
Never buying again
Garry - 1 out of 5 stars review9/5/2021Don’t buy into the “long lasting” hype. I recently ran out of the “members mark” brand which is about four dollars less for the same quantity and believe or not they out perform these…really dissatisfied with energizer brand. I’ll go back to the Sam’s club brand next time…
Waste of money
JER - 1 out of 5 stars review12/21/2023These are ABSOLUTELY terrible. As an example, one of my regular uses for them is in an analog clock that uses one AA battery at a time. The Duracell batteries Sam's used to sell would last between 2 to 2-1/2 YEARS before needing replacement. These batteries last 2-3 MONTHS. Less than 1/6 the duration of the Duracells. That's absolutely ridiculous in this day and age, and at this price point. And their performance in other electronics is just as bad. They're just garbage. I'll never purchase Energizer batteries again.
Garbage compared to Duracell Sam's used to sell

Getting Cheated
Natalie - 1 out of 5 stars review1/3/2026These batteries are advertised as having a shelf life of 12 years. The ones Sam's Club shipped to me expire in 10 years. Apparently Sam's is shipping old inventory to members. We pay for Plus specifically to avoid driving 30 minutes (each way) to the store for non-perishable items, like batteries. We're not paying that extra fee to have the warehouse dump its old inventory on us. These are AA batteries that we use often, so I'm not going to bother returning them. It's very likely we'll use them all up in 10 years anyway. But dumping old inventory on customers who get items shipped or delivered is definitely not a good way to retain Plus members. They also came in a set of "minis" with 4 batteries in each little box. The ph...
Shorter shelf life than advertised
APRIL - 5 out of 5 stars review11/4/2021I was advised to use Energizer for my insulin pump. Turns out that was great advice. Other batteries don’t last very long in my insulin pump so I end up using twice as many batteries. Energizer goes the mile. I won’t use anything else for my medical devices ever again.
Best battery out there.
