Now, I don't personally drink diet sodas, but my husband does and we always have a steady supply of diet coke in our house. It's affordable, zero sugar, and zero calorie. If you're a fan of coke, and looking for a low calorie, diet option, Diet Coke is a good fit for you.

Diet Coke tastes nothing like the cult classic that we all love. It has a very heavy aspartame flavour more than anything else, but still decent soda for those who are looking to cut down on sugary drinks. I would highly recommend skipping out on this variation entirely, and just jump over to the Coke Zero. It's a million times better than this!

Addictive. I love Diet Coke, especially in a can (more than a bottle)- it’s kind of a problem. I find it so tasty and refreshing. The crisp taste when you first open the can and the carbonation bubbles on your tongue , it’s my favourite to drink when I’m stressed.

While it doesn’t taste anything like regular Coca-Cola, the taste is crisp enough to be quite refreshing. The flavor profile is pretty boring but the mixture of carbonation, caffeine, and sugar ends up being pretty good in small or large quantities in spite of my issues with the flavor. Definitely something I’d like to have on a hot day so have to give this a recommendation. (I was surprised too!)

My go to. I can always find it and it tastes so good and refreshing. I prefer Cherry Coke Zero, but I know that I can always grab this when that's out of stock. I always have this available at home (and am happy to see it when they have this over Diet Pepsi at a restaurant.

This is a good substitute for Coke Zero’s newest formula. I can definitely taste a difference and that this drinks point is to be a diet version of the regular Coke, whereas Coke Zero is meant to taste as close to regular Coke without all of the sugar and calories.

My husband drinks this as he is weaning off soda. It is extremely unhealthy and can cause insulin spikes just like regular coke. I find the taste disgusting. Its like a vat of chemicals leftover from a science experiment gone wrong. I would not recommend.

All I taste is the artificial sweeteners. Diet Coke is actually worse for those with a sweet tooth because the artificial sweeteners are sweeter than real sugar, making your sugar “tolerance” higher and you end up craving sweeter and sweeter things. Terrible taste and terrible for you.

Diet Coke is so bad for you!! It doesn’t taste as good either. But all the chemicals in there will damage your body more than regular coke would, so if you can drink regular coke, do that instead! If you’re trying to cut back on calories and just replace coke with Diet Coke, you won’t be doing your body any good. The best thing to do would be cut back on drinking regular coke rather than drinking the same amount but in diet.
