Pleased with purchase

Heavy duty for the price. Love it for my run/walk routine. Assembly was straightforward - it took about an hour (after unpacking it which took some time), but it wasn't difficult to assemble.

Amazing Treadmill

This is my fourth treadmill in the past 23 years and by far the most stable and firm treadmill I have ever owned. Easy to assemble, runs smoothly, large display and lights really add to the experience.

Problem with threads on the upright frame

This unit is very heavy so move it into your location in the box, otherwise you will have difficulty keeping it stabilized and risk injury. Once it was assembled it works fine. However, there was a problem attaching the left upright to the console frame. The bolts would not go in and it required me to get a metric 8 x 1.25 tap to clean up the threads. Otherwise, if forced in the bolts would have been striped on that side. There was no problem with the right side so that is a quality control issue.

Easy to assemble but noisier than expected

Nice treadmill. I'm not light (265) and it seems to handle my weight well. Easy to assemble but noisier than expected. I had a very old commercial treadmill (still works) that is more quiet than this one. Large display is nice but dosen't give you any more information than a standard smaller display. I beleive it prodvides more info you have Echelon membership.

Good but not great

The calories, distance, and heart meters are not accurate. All the extra options this thing has don’t work as they should. The actual treadmill itself does what it suppose to and that part works great

Overall

The mechanics of the treadmill are great, it wasn’t hard on the knees and was very spacious from side to side. On the down side, the firmware and app were terrible, way too slow to run any of the apps like Spotify, YouTubeTV, and even browsing was painfully slow. The workout app would log me out and render the machine useless until the app was back up and running.

This unit is actually a replacement of the first one that lasted just 3 months because the tread wore out so quickly and would drag on the surface despite no one in our house weighing over 180 lbs. After weeks of trying to fix it through customer service prompts, Echelon did replace it, but now after almost a year later the replacement is starting to exhibit some of the same behaviors (even though we maintain it well and lube the tread board and belts regularly). And, as many other reviews have said, I dont know what the calories burned counter is measuring, but it's not that. Plus the giant display is useless without purchasing the subscription (which isnt needed if you have other services already). Disappointed in this purchased because it replaced a NordicTrack that was over 10 years old and we thought this would be a good change, but we will be going to something else in the very near future because this is definitely going to end up just like the first one did and its not worth dealing with another replacement of the same thing only for the same issue to happen over and over.

DON'T BUY. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE.

Bought this treadmill a little over a year ago, and have used only a handful of times. The incline is already broken I've tried everything to try to recalibrate it checked the wires the motor makes a sound when I try to incline it but it won't move. Reach out to customer service and wait days for a response that is ultimately not helpful. Complete waste of money. The calorie counting is completely inaccurate and the “15%” incline is not the same as what a level 15 incline would be on a life fitness or cybex treadmill. Also if you want to connect to the app you have to pay for a subscription on top of the hundreds of dollars for the treadmill. Super disappointing. Also the built in charging pad has stopped working.

Whatever happened to having an option?

I bought the SAM's display unit, it was the last one in stock. I'll admit the tredmill itself is wonderful machine thats capable of easily handling my 250 lbs. However, I did think it could be used as a stand alone unit that would at least allow me to monitor my speed, distance, calories, heart rate..etc. You know the treadmill basics that everyone expects to come standard with a tredmill¿. And later when I'm ready, have the option to join one of their classes at my discretion. But NO!! Unless you fork over at least $40 a month, the monitor is completly useless to you. And for that amount of $$ I could have just continued to pay for my gym membership. I feel rail roaded. So, unless I'm missing something. I can't honestly recommend this product for someone who just wants to get in shape without being hussled by this company.
