Better camera then ring. Price per month for monitoring is pricing. Facial recognition is off, but nice to have. Can change doorbell chimes to holiday chimes

Google Nest Camera Doorbell has great features. If it "rings" it's connected to the Echo to announce someone is at the door. It dings when it sees someone at the door and you can see who it is on the camera. It also has a smart feature of recognizing a person with a package. There is video on your paired phone, and you can engage the microphone to talk with someone without having to open the door.

Ease of install. Both work with doorbell power supply. Great for extra eyes on driveway and road. Use battery power as backup.

Good camera, but send wrong size screws.

It's very hard to mount this doorbell. The "bonus" has no compatible screws in it, and the bracket that goes behind the doorbell is impossible to remove once you attached to the doorbell.

Very disappointed! Doesn't ring in your home at all; sounds just like a text message on my phone and often times, the battery is needing recharged because of colder weather. Would never buy again!

The ring doorbell nest purchased from Sam’s Club was defective right out of the box after trying to install and connect to my Apple phone, which I was told was compatible with the Google nest wasn’t successful after many attempts contacted customer service. They ran some remote diagnostic and determined that the Google nest doorbell was faulty after further review they determined that the product was out of warranty. Also, it had only been two days since I purchased it so that did not make sense. They told me that Google could not replace it because the warranty had expired so I had to return it to Sam’s Club and they were able to credit my money.
