I believe I may have found my new favorite coffee! First of all it smelled amazing while grinding up the beans. I loved the “mash-up” of flavors and I really could taste the chocolatey, the nutty, and a hint of cherry from the first sip. It was so smooth, strong, and in my opinion not bitter at all. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a multiple cup of coffee drinker. So my one cup has to be great. I’m in love with this coffee! It’s got great chocolate and fruity hints with an amazing mouth feel. I prefer to drink my morning cup as an americano. This is the perfect blend to give it that extra special taste that I just can’t get anywhere.

From the moment I opened the bag, the coffee smelled incredible. I ground enough beans for a pour over and created a cup of the brew. The flavor notes are of chocolate and nuts. The smell is incredible. I brewed mine a bit strong, but still was not overwhelmed by bitterness or acidity. Overall, an excellent cup of coffee. Not to mention, the price point feels incredibly fair for the quality of these beans. The 30oz bag retails at $15 which comes out to just over $7/lb which is less than I would expect to normally pay for a cup of this quality.
