[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually like a medium roast, but wanted to try this mashup. The beans smell so good, and taste even better. This is my new favorite coffee! It’s not bitter at all but has a nice bold taste. I highly recommend it!

There is nothing quite like the fragrance of freshly ground coffee brewing and Mash-Up is no exception! It smells nutty and rich, with a hint of... burnt...and yet - delicious. At first sip, it was bitter and burnt-tasting. To be fair - this sip was straight-up black coffee, aaand I may have thrown off the grounds : water ratio because I am a little out of practice. Adding a teaspoon of agave took away the bitterness and now I have very strong coffee with smoky tones. This may just become a new household favorite, as it will be delicious in protein drinks and homemade coffee ice cream!! If you prefer a light to medium roast, then this heavy-hitting dark roast is probably not your coffee soulmate but if you like coffee with full-bodied mouth feel that delivers a message with each sip - I recommend giving it a shot. Mash-Up whole bean Dark Roast Coffee has the rich aroma you expect when opening a fresh bag of finely roasted coffee. Upon grinding the anticipation for a cup grows as you inhale what now sweetly fills the kitchen. The rich cup was made according to my likening with just the right amount of organic cream to transform the cup into a smooth Carmel mixture of pure delight. I felt this had a light flavor for me which if you like that option makes for a great fresh and light cup of coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So first of all, I'm a coffee snob. I like my coffee the way I like it, and I don't drink it any other way. Nor do I drink any other brand. Beans are always fresh ground just before they are brewed. Like I said, I'm a coffee snob. The coffee is pretty good. Slightly bitter, but the aroma is awesome with hints of chocolate and cherry. It's very oily in the bag and the oil covers the inside of the grinder when you grind it, but that's not a big deal if you clean it out after each grind, which I do anyway. So now, I have 2 coffees that I like, and will continue to use.

Some dark roast coffees can be bitter but this has an unbelievably smooth taste ! With the sweetness of dark cherry& milk chocolate and touch of toasted nuts, it has become my fave! The aroma alone is amazing!!! Excellent quality AND excellent value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a coffee snob. I like a bold flavor without the acidicness you get from some dark roasts. This mashup coffee hits every note perfectly. A nice strong flavor with hints of almost a chocolatey flavor. Is there anything better than the smell of freshly ground coffee in the morning?

This is some good coffee. I'm not an expert by any means, but if you like coffee with flavor, meaning you like the flavor of coffee and don't say things like it tastes burnt or whatever, this is for you. It's a shame that it's out of stock online now as well. Hopefully someone realizes this is a huge mistake.
