I could even tell after about 4-5 hours that i needed it again. Then I'd go to bed thinking "I'll be okay, I don't need my NyQuil I'm getting better. I'll tough it out" Nope! After 45 minutes of laying down coughing husband says "just take it already" because I was keeping him awake. Ha! I was out sleeping eithout coughing in no time. I always have a backup of this stuff in case a bottle runs out. Totally not fun to run to the store not feeling well.

I appreciate the severe formula of DayQuil for its inclusion of Guaifenesin, which I find helps with overcoming a cough. Having a two-pack on hand of both severe formulations is convenient, and helps to prepare in advance for illness.

I like being able to buy the two pack in a convenient single package because then I always know I have the type I need for day or night use. Both products come with a convenient measuring cup to make it easy to get the correct dosage. Bottle lasts a long time as one dose is not very much. Taste is very good for a cold medicine.
