When my daughter moved away and took her bedroom furniture with her I decided to make her old room a guest room and needed to buy a new mattress. I decided on this Scott Living Hybrid 13" medium mattress. I have slept on in several times now and can't say enough about how comfortable this mattress is. I will be replacing my other mattress with this one soon. I get a great nights sleep. I was a little worried about trying a hybrid mattress, but it turned out to be one of the best matresses I have every owned.

This is our fourth bed-in-a-box and by far was the easiest to unpack. Although heavy and probably requiring two people to move, I was able to unbox it on my own with extreme patience. It expanded quickly and did not appear to have any lingering odor as is sometimes present with similar mattresses. Once expanded, maybe 2 minutes, it appeared as if you could sleep on it right away, compared to other brands. We did, however, let it sit for 48 hours before sleeping on it. It is very soft to the touch and seems to be supportive so far; 7 days. My spouse and I are on the heavy side and typically need a firmer mattress so as to not a have "sunken in" feeling where we sleep. So far, there does not appear to be a substantial indent in our sleeping zones. I also need two shoulder replacements and have continual pain and while that will not go away until after surgery, I do not have any new pain that I have noticed. There does not appear to be much movement when either sleeper tosses or turns and the firmness has helped to alleviate some of our back pain. Deep pocket sheets or sheet suspenders are a must as 13" is a lot taller than you might expect. Overall, one of the more comfortable mattresses I have owned.

This mattress came rolled up in a box. As soon as it was cut out of the packaging it inflated fast to its full size. The mattress looks like good quality that will hold up for a good amount of time. This mattress is being used in my sons room. He is 350 lbs and he loves the mattress so far. He said you sink in the perfect amount so it’s not too soft or hard. I also tried out the bed and thought it was very comfy.

I was not expecting this to be a full-size mattress; I guess I was expecting a topper that I would place on top of our current mattress. I removed the old mattress and I placed this mattress in my guest room and it is so comfy. I will be looking to to buy another for my college student. It was packed well and be prepared it is HEAVY! It does need a few hours or a day to fully fill out after opening from box.

This mattress is so comfortable! I normally wake up with back pain and after sleeping on this mattress for a week my back feels so much better. I wish we had this mattress years ago. My husband is also happy with it and we have struggled to find a mattress that we both like!

This is a very comfortable and firm mattress which is perfect if you have some back issues and sleep with a partner. It's a hybrid mattress so it has individual coils that help minimize movements whenever your partner moves and still have the memory foam on top for a comfort. I like the firmer top which helps with my back issues but I think a more plush top option is also available. Mattress was shipped directly to my house rolled which made it easier to move around. Relatively heavier than full memory foam mattresses due to the coils but was easy to move and install when received.

Unbelievably comfortable leading to amazingly restful sleep. It comes in a relatively large box and heavy box that really requires at least 2 people to move if any stairs are involved. It expands quickly without too much odor (dissipates fast). Once expanded, it feels great. It's soft and supportive at the same time. I was going to put it in the spare room but decided to switch out my previous mattress for this one.

It's a great comfortable mattress, but from the beginning I had questions. There was no tag on it saying Scott Living, and the warranty paperwork was generic from Visionary Sleep / Restonic. The shipping LABEL said: SAMS 13 HYBRID MD with no mention of Scott Living. I contacted Pleasant Mattress who made it, and also Visionary Sleep with few answers. I finally got a proper reply from Scott Living who identified it as one of theirs. It looks the same as the photo, but my concern was the construction internally. I would recommend this mattress as its comfortable, especially the quilted top. I wouldn't use a mattress pad, even though the warranty suggests it. You won't feel the quilting if you use a mattress pad. You know you have a good mattress when you don't want to get out of it in the morning.

This is our first bed in a box. It’s very heavy, so it took two of us to set it up. Be ready because when you start, it opens out very quickly. It is nice and thick, and stays pretty cool. However, it’s pretty soft, and feels a little “sinky” in the middle. I hope it keeps its shape…we have only had it a couple of weeks.

I have slept on this mattress for a week now and I am very impressed. The mattress arrives in a large box that will require 2 people (or one absolute stud) to move into the house. Inside the box, the mattress is wrapped tightly into a coiled plastic spiral. It was so compressed that I was convinced it would take days to puff up after unwrapping it. I was pleasantly surprised to find it completely decompressed and fluffy after about an hour. The mattress is a the perfect balance between a firm spring mattress and a super soft pillow top. It was soft enough to be comfortable, yet firm enough that I didn't wale up with a back ache. Hubby noticed that he didn't feel me tossing and turning, in fact, didn't feel much movement at all when I turned over. Hubby and I are heavier (not quite plus size but close, and we are not fans of most memory foam beds, I don't like the "sunken in" feeling I get after hours of laying in one spot. I noticed that I didn't feel like I was sunken in until waking up 8 hours after laying down- this was definitely a first for me. This is probably one of the more comfortable mattresses we've owned in our 26 years together, and the price being 1/3 what we usually spend made it a steal!
