When I saw this and got the sample from PinchMe, I realized I would finally be able to use it again. The scent isn't as powerful as the original but you still get the same long lasting scent and benefits of the original Downy. Will definitely be buying the Downy Light.

I love that it is not overpowering and makes my laundry smell good days later. It's especially perfect when washing my bedding! I did receive this product for free but these opinions are my own.

The product helped keep my son's clothes smelling fresher longer. I wish that the product wasn't as expensive as it is. The price is about the price of my laundry detergent which is crazy. As a single income family it's hard to afford it.

I did find that if my load wasn't too large I could get two loads out of one packet. I love being able to smell how fresh my clothes smell and this definitely satisfies that. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will start by saying I am normally one who likes full on strong scented products, because I purchase them for that reason. But, when I received a free sample of this from PINCHme I wanted to try it out nonetheless. I decided to try it on my sons sport clothes to see if it had the same effect in getting rid of that sweaty stinky teenage athlete smell, as I knew the fully scented ones could. To my surprise, it did actually still get rid of any smells I was trying to wash away! While it has that lighter, more of a distant type of smell, it still worked wonderfully. I would recommend this for anyone who is not into the stronger smells or anyone who may not be able to handle scents on laundry products. This light scent still gave the “definitely clean” smell, and lasted through the wear of normal clothing (sorry, no scent can last through a Florida heat baseball practice no matter how intense!) but on school shirts, I could still smell the light scent after worn all day!
