It's subtle and not anything like the "sea side" smells that come to my mind from potpurri, candles, lotion, etc. It's truly light and just smells fresh. I like it better than the other scents, which surprised me. It's not overwhelming at all.

I was nervous about using the waxy beads in my washer but they did dissolve completely and left no residue.

For the Heavy Stuff (Fresh): This is my go-to for gym clothes and my son's laundry. It's that classic, "blue" laundry scent that really sticks. If I want something to smell clean for two weeks in a drawer, I use this one. • For the "Vibe" (Ocean Mist): Since this is part of the "Light" line, it's much more subtle. I've been using this for my bedding and guest towels. It smells like a breezy morning—crisp and clean without being a total punch to the face. I actually received these as free items to test out, but they've officially made it into my permanent laundry rotation. Whether you want a scent that makes a statement or just a light refresh, you really can't go wrong with either.

Downy has some very nice smelling products we find using this that it is mild enough ans does not cause skin irritation on anyone in our family. It's really long lasting scent is nice when you open a drawer and your folded clothes still smell amazing

This product has made them soft and fluffy again. Which says a lot when you have two teenage boys that shower 15 times a day and towels have to be washed over and over.
