I just put a cup of this in the washer before I throw the clothes in and when I take them out of the dryer, oh my goodness, I just want to smell everything while I fold the clothes. The scent is not too strong, just like a very fine perfume. I would definitely recommend this.

I can only imagine how old these pants and jerseys are. I included a photo of the practice jersey that only gets washed once a week, because he only gets one and it’s too hard to wash everyday. Most of the boys just leave them in the locker room where they practice. If I were smart, I would have thrown his football bag into the wash as well so that I could come out smelling as good as everything else. When the washer ended there was such a beautiful smell in the laundry room and when I opened the washer, it was not a stinky teenager smell. I’ve been watching these uniforms with regular detergent and OxiClean for a month and they have never come out smelling as good as added the Downey beads.

You wash your clothes as normal and then add in some of the little booster beads. You do not have to add a long to your wash, because a little goes a long way. The ocean mist leaves a nice outdoor ocean scent. The scent seems to last for days. We will be adding these boosters to our laundry routine.

I used to use and like the pink bottle (called April rain or something like that...) but now the ocean mist becomes my new favorite. Even my bedroom smells good for a few days after a new wash of beddings. The fragrant scent is gentle and sort of a neutral feel.
