I immediately noticed how they smelt the entire time I was folding the laundry but it wasn't overwhelming. Three days later I pull a shirt or a pair of socks out and I still smell the scent beads. It didn't last as long as I expected. For me, I think its too light with the smell. It didn't make my closet smell good. But then again, it didn't smell bad. It just didn't smell like I had just taken my clothes out of the dryer. I definitely prefer a stronger fragrance. I do recommend the Downy Light Ocean Mist Laundry Scent Boosters to people who prefer a lighter fragrance.

At first I was nervous because of the possible skin sensitivity, but figured I’d try it out since it was a free sample and I’m so glad I did! They smell fresh and not overwhelming at all. These scent beads are totally worth it if you usually skip boosters because they're too strong. The Ocean Mist scent is genuinely light—it smells clean, not perfumey, and it doesn't give me a headache. My gym clothes and towels stay fresh way longer now. Good value for a great, subtle freshness.

Anyways if you want a more subtle smell with it being the downy light this is for you! You still can smell the extra scent boost and it does last it’s just not over whelming.
