[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this in the loaf of football gear for my middle school son. Our school is small, so we don’t often get new uniforms. I can only imagine how old these pants and jerseys are. I included a photo of the practice jersey that only gets washed once a week, because he only gets one and it’s too hard to wash everyday. Most of the boys just leave them in the locker room where they practice. If I were smart, I would have thrown his football bag into the wash as well so that I could come out smelling as good as everything else. When the washer ended there was such a beautiful smell in the laundry room and when I opened the washer, it was not a stinky teenager smell. I’ve been watching these uniforms with regular detergent and OxiClean for a month and they have never come out smelling as good as added the Downey beads.

I recieved this as a free sample from Pinchme. Downy Light Ocean Mist beads make your clothes smell super fresh without being too strong. They smell like a clean beach day, not like your grandma's perfume, which is awesome. You just toss a little bit of the beads right into the washing machine before you start the load. When you pull out your sports clothes or pajamas, they smell great for way longer than usual. If you want your laundry to have a light, cool scent, these are a really easy win.

First of all these laundry scent boosters smell amazing! The light ocean mist scent isnt to strong! Real loud, strong scents give me headaches sometimes. When I used these the scent was perfect. I have been using the Downy Scent Boosters in my laundry for a while now. I love the way they keep my clothes smelling fresh and clean like they have just been washed! Unlike some of the other laundry scent boosters that are available. The fresh clean scent really last! These scent boosters do not leave any kind of residue on clothing. If you have never tried the Downy Scent Boosters, I highly recommend that you do! After using them the first time, I was hooked now I always use them in my laundry!

They’re super easy to use—just throw a capful in before washing. The scent is strong though, so if you add too much it can be a little overwhelming. Overall, it’s a good way to give clothes that extra fresh smell without much effort.
