With toddlers there's always messy clothes and smells from dirt or spilled food or even accidents and diapers it did help cover the scent of a soiled diaper when my toddler pooped . Not completely so that I didn't notice they needed to be changed but enough to not make me gag on the last minute of the drive home . ( toddler was changed within 10 minutes of the poop just using this as an example of how good the scent lasts, moms know baby poo can smell pretty bad so anything to make it just a little more tolerable) All in all I'd say it's great

I do like downy laundry products and this one did do what I wanted it to so I have nothing bad to say about it. However I didn't really care for the scent and prefer other scents that downy has. I would purchase the product except not in the light mist scent.
