I’m a member of the Crowdtap Neutrogena® rewards program, and Neutrogena® sent me a sample of its Hydro Boost Water Gel to review. The thing that struck me when I first opened product. It looks and smells like Downy. And putting it on just brought back memories of fresh, soft, clean sheets. I can spend all day just inhaling the smell. The product itself is very cool to the touch and a little product goes a very long way. Unlike lotions and other creams where I usually need a big glob to full cover my face and neck, I only need a tiny little bit to feel like I have good, even coverage that sinks in. The coolness gives a nice refreshing feeling to your face along with how great it smells, which lasts for house. It also sinks in very quickly, so you don't feel sticky, oily, or like you have any residue on you. But even better, my face feels so incredible soft after just a few uses. And given that I started using this product, in the dead of winter, with negative wind chills and heaters cranked up everywhere, I have been thoroughly impressed. The container should last you for quite awhile, making the price even more attractive for the results you get, very quickly.

I recently received samples of this. and I am highly impressed! its ultra light weight. doesn't leave a nasty residue on my face. and my skin is noticeably soft. i have always been a huge fan of neutrogena. and they have really out did themselves with this product. I have really oily skin and i wear it in the morning under my make up and i apply it at night. and its such a rich moisturizer it doesn't leave my skin feeling oily at all. this is one of the best moisturizer i have used.

Purchased this BELIEVING neutrogena products were clean. I am seriously allergic to acrylates “Mma”, You know, the stuff that can be found in gel nail polish and acrylic nails. Had a terrible reaction. No more neutrogena products for me ever. My body can’t handle that many chemicals in a small jar.

I tend to get dry patches of skin especially on my face and tried a few products. This water gel really helps with a lasting moisturized hydration, even if I use it before bedtime I wake up with fresher feeling skin. It doesn't cause me any skin irritation either. I'll keep using this water gel on my face and neck! I'd recommend it if you have sensitive skin and looking for something to make your skin less dry.

I have been using a 2% salicylic acid solution for acne that makes my skin be extra dry and I love how gentle and moisturizing this is. My skin is left feeling soft and well hydrated thanks to the hyaluronic acid. A little goes a long way.

It’s also a struggle to find something that will make my face feel hydrated without being oily. I’ve been using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel this winter every morning and every night after cleansing my face and my face has felt so hydrated and no oily look! Ive also used this product under my makeup and have not had any breakout issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Water Gel for a few days now and so far I'm liking most things about it. It has a soft texture and feels cooling when applied. It feels lightweight and absorbs almost immediately with minimal effort. I was surprised that even with the hyaluronic acid, it is as hydrating as it is. Since I've been using it my skin does look and feel more hydrated & nourished. My makeup applies well over it and it works with my other skincare with no balling or pilling. The only thing that I don't like is the added fragrance. The scent reminds me of a laundry product, it's very floral mixed with an almost clean linen scent. I find it too strong, unpleasant and frankly unnecessary. If you don't like fragrance or are sensitive to it I think this would be too much for you but if fragrance doesn't bother you and you are looking for a lightweight moisturizer I would recommend it.
