This water gel formula is so hydrating, and even includes hyaluronic acid. Love how it doesn’t feel heavy, yet refreshes the face. Wears nicely under makeup. I have oily dehydrated skin so the “oil-free” hydrating component attracted me. It has a very light, clean fragrance which I prefer rather than no fragrance. Affordable and easy to find. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try this product because I have heard many good things about it for my sensitive and oily skin. The cream is very thin and water based so it applies like a gel moisturizer. I was surprised that it had blue dye and fragrance in it. It seemed so unnecessary for a skincare product. I’ve really come to know this brand as a gentle brand for sensitive skin. I will be more careful about what products I choose from them in the future. I did see that there is a fragrance free version of this product so I will try that. The cream burned my face a little the first time I used it because of the added fragrance. I did find it leaves my face very soft and plump. I have only been using it in the morning because of the irritation. It did not make my breakouts worse or better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a gel consistency that applies really smoothly and spreads well. It contains a fragrance which isn't my favorite, as it resembles a bit of an older perfume scent, but it doens't bother me too much once it is on my skin. The gel texture leaves my skin looking and feeling really matte, which will be great in summer and more humid environments, but I find it isn't as moisturizing in winter. I will use this as a day time moisturizer in winter to ensure my oily T-zone doesn't poke through, but prefer a heavier moisturizer at night. The jar packaging is easy to use and it is a generous size.

I really love this new Hydro Boost Water Gel from Neutrogena. It's so light weight, easy to apply and goes on smoothly onto my skin, I'm suprised on how fast it was absorbed without any trace or greasy feeling and gave me that instant boost of hydration. My skin felt really soft and smooth to touch. You may be skeptical of a new face wash but let me tell you, this product is GREAT. It is so smooth, none of that oily residue left behind like so many other washes. It foesnt smell like chemicals are everywhere. Its quite refreshing. Leaves your skin smooth and wanting more! A definite must have face wash!!

I need something thicker and more moisturizing and this just doesn’t do it for me. My biggest complaint is the overpowering scent. I feel like I’m dousing my face in perfume. It’s only redeeming quality is the hyaluronic acid.

It absorbs quickly into my skin without leaving my skin feeling greasy or having any residue. I’ve been using it for several weeks and see only improvement and no breakouts.

I use this stuff more then once a day it leaves my skin so hydrated. I have combination skin and this works amazing for all skin types. I love that it smells good and refreshing. At first I thought oh man this might be sticky but its not at all. Its made my skin look a lot more refreshed and soft. I love it and when I run out will be purchasing more!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the jar of Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel, I could tell this was going to be different. After my normal face wash routine, I dipped my finger into the jar and it felt very gel like and cool. A little goes a long way! As I rubbed it into my skin it was very light and very cool. Normally, half way through my day, my face feels oily and gross. I did not have that happen after using this product. My skin feels hydrated and smooth. This is definitely a product I will keep as part of my daily routine. Super impressed.

I was honestly not impressed with this product. First I felt as though my skin wasn’t really hydrated for long after applying and I still had flaking skin around my mouth and chin area. I was also disappointed by how sticky it left my skin feeling after applying. It is however if you were to have more combination/oily it is a very lightweight moisturizer and may work better for your skin. However if you have really dry skin like myself I would not recommend.
