[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product arrived and it was pleasant to use. However, it broke me out in 24 hours in little pustules. I’d guess it’s the cetearyl olivate. I used it twice and now have zits for the next week. It’s probably good for someone but not me!

Let me start this review by saying I used this product two times a day for two and a half weeks. The gel consistency was nice and made it so a little goes a long way. It sinks into the skin very quickly and does hold moisture for a while. I really liked the packaging colors but not the fact that it was in a tub. (I feel that’s a haven for bacteria.) It has a light fresh fragrance, which at first I did not find overwhelming. The only problem I encountered was an irritation with my eyes (and I used it very far away from them). I’m not sure if it was the fragrance or maybe because I’m a contacts wearer. Overall this product was not for me, because of the eye irritation. Also I don’t really like the idea of putting anything with a fragrance on my face. I would suggest it if you don’t have sensitive skin but extremely dry skin. “I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.”

I review a lot of beauty products for my blog, which include many moisturizers. This is by far the best drugstore moisturizer I have used, and to be honest many of my blog reviews do not favor most of the moisturizers I've had the opportunity to try. In fact, this is even better than most high-end brands for less than half the cost. Neutrogena is one of the few drugstore brands I can use because of my very sensitive skin. This moisturizer has a high-end feel that leaves my skin so soft and moisturized without a greasy feeling. As soon as I put it on, my skin feels soothed. I was also experiencing some dry spots under my eyebrows, around my mouth, and chin, which gratefully cleared entirely by using only the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel for a month. This gel has seriously changed the appearance of my skin, and I love it. It is lightweight and non-greasy, and it does an excellent job of hydrating my skin without making it feel oily. I also like that it is fragrance-free, which is important because I have sensitive skin. Overall, I would recommend the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel to anyone with all skin types, especially those with oily or combination skin who experience dryness like me.

It is super hydrating and moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling plump. When I wash my face, my skin feels incredible. This layers well over my serums and under make up.

i am always on a search for facial products for a good price. I love for my skin to look toned and feeling fresh but I'm not too big on dishing out big bucks on products that I will use everyday, meaning it will run out quick. Anyway thank to Influenster I received Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Water Gel complimentary to test and review. Initially I wondered what a water based product would do for my skin but after one application I was in love. You immediately feel and difference. After being consistent with it for several days I could see a difference as well. My skin no longer looked dull and dry. The product should be used on a clean face to assure accurate results. I like double up and use it as a light make-up primer as well. I'm not sure if that's it's purpose but hey it work for me. So why not try it out. I have not always liked some products I have received but this is one I will definitely be purchasing once my bottle runs out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best thing about this product to me is the gel like texture. I just love how bouncy it is. Feels very hydrating and to me has a nice cooling effect when I put it on my face. I was also surprised that the product doesn't really have too much of a smell which one the one hand is great because some people are sensitive and less smell probably means more natural ingredients, however me personally smells don't bother me and I feel like some sort of nice subtle smell would elevate using the product. Overall though would absolutely recommend and buy for myself again!

I've been using this for a couple weeks and I am obsessed! It smells fresh and makes my skin so soft. My pores get clogged really easily, but they have already started clearing up since I started using this. I have also noticed I don't really get oily throughout the day anymore. I think this is because my face is already hydrated so it's not overproducing as much. I never write reviews but I was super impressed by how well this is working for me. Would recommend!

Wow! I really wanted to like this product. Unfortunately even though my skin looked and felt great the fragrance was OVERWHELMING! I smelled it from the time I put it in in the morning until I washed it off at night. I can’t understand why they would put a fragrance in a face cream. I can’t believe I read about this on a dermatologist blog. Almost great product. But ultimately an epic fail.
