I like it but something in it made my part of my face itch. I'm not really a sensitive person but some how this made me really itch. It did feel good when applying it to my face and i could feel how it really hydrates. If there was a similar product that won't make me itch I would love to use it. I would recommend it if it didn't make me itch. The quality was great and value is not bad for something that actually works. I'm from Georgia and i honestly used it a few times but had to stop because of the itching.

I tried this gel cream for the first time when I was in a pinch and quickly needed something to address my finicky skin. I am 63 and have generally oily skin that at times turns red, flaky and itchy. My "premium" brand skin cream fell to the floor & broke and I needed something quick, so I ran to the big box store and bought this thinking it was a temporary fix until I could order my regular brand. Little did I know that one application and I was hooked - this gel cream moisturizes without making me oily and calms my skin. And it's 1/3 the price of my former "regular" cream. Great stuff and it works just as it's advertised.

HydroBoost gel is a welcome addition to Nuetrogena for us "Oily" faces AND damaged skin... DOES feel silky & lightweight Yet, my face does not feel 10x more moisturized, no more than any "gel" moisturizers (they're not many affordable gel choices). Please Nuetrogena learn more about HOW HEAVY "Creams" feel on oily skin. I understand that the better one sticks to basic cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize, & Sunscreen -->the initial results will BE releasing oil trapped under dead skin built up from clogged pores ... SO TAKE CARE of Face, Try to understand what's happening (increased initial oiliness). Stay strong & patient. It can be challenging but Stick To Routine. I purchased the Hydro Boost Water Gel because my skin reacts badly to thick lotions and I don't like strong smelling creams or lotions I am very sensitive to a lot of things so I tried some and it was like putting water on my face with no heavy scent and my face is so soft and fresh looking and I'm 54 my daughter also uses this product and she 29

I used some of my neighbor’s Hydro Boost and thought I would try it. I am impressed with the condition of my skin when I use it. I layer my retinol/HA cream with it at night and use my CC cream in the morning with it. It feels great and is not greasy!

I have it all. Aging, sensitive skin, oily skin with dry patches, acne prone skin. This is the one moisturizer I found that addresses all of these issues without making my skin feel greasy. This is my favorite night moisturizer! My only wish is that it was in a tube, not a jar.

Dermatologist says stay away. I've used neutrogena for years and tried this out. It seemed to go on well and soak in but my skin, not normally sensitive, broke out after about a week of using. Derm said they see quite a few people that have had similar issues with this cream. Finally took 1.5 cortizone and antibiotic to resolve after stopping use.

My pores normally clog with facial moisturizers, but this one simply seals the water into my skin after cleansing, and feels great! It hasn’t caused one pimple, and it dries quickly for me to put foundation on soon after. Best moisturizer I’ve tried.

I am 66 years old. While I've always had oily skin, my age now includes both oily and dry. I use this water gel and it handles by moisturizing enough but not over. Somehow when I use this, I don't get oil on my skin and my skin is nice and soft. Double win. I LOVE this product!!!
