[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new formula is a little different than the older one. The biggest upset for me is lack of lightness. The older formula was lightweight but packed a powerful moisture punch. The new formula gives me the same moisture with a slightly heavier texture. The scent is a little extra in this new formula but it’s not really a big deal. All in all I can say it still works well, just somewhat different.

I received a Hydro Boost from Influenster and was skeptical at first as most of my favorite moisturizers are high-end brands. Upon the first application, it immediately reminded me of Clinique moisture surge, which I love. So far, these two are comparable, and Neutrogena seems to include less ingredients, which is a plus. The moisturizer is great for dry to normal skin - it is incredibly light and super moisturizing; a little goes a long way - so I think this will last a long time. I would definitely purchase this product. Although I tested Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel for free, all opinions are my own.

This is by far the best moisturizer I've used. Many moisturizers break me out because they're too oily, but this one is perfect!! I've been using this for around a year, and I will probably never use another moisturizer. The only thing I will say is that the blue dye is kind of annoying. I get that's it's trying to imitate water, but I think that this product would be even better if the harsh, chemical-y dye was taken out.

This gel is so lightweight and instantly absorbs into my skin. I was amazed at how well my skin stayed hydrated. I have super dry skin this time of year, and I expected to have to use this along with a heavier moisturizer. But no need for that, it works great on its own. I try to avoid using thick and heavy moisturizers during the day because it causes my skin to create more oil than it needs to. But with Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturizer, my skin is able to feel moisturized without making my skin feel tacky or overly-greasy. I also love the scent it provides! This will remain my favorite moisturizer.

I have tried numerous moisturizers. Since I have oily skin I have yet to find one that suits my needs.... until now. The Hydro Boost Water Gel does exactly what it states. It does not contribute to my oily skin but instead has balanced my skin while keeping it soft. It smells great also which is always a plus. I use this every night before bed and wake up to refreshed, hydrated skin.

I absolutely love this moisturizer. It is always nice to find products that you love from a drug store because of the convenience. After I wash my face, I have to use a moisturizer that leaves my skin feeling moisturized to the touch and hydrated and this does exactly that. I have sensitive skin and many things will make me break out, and this moisturizer always keeps my skin clear and feeling wonderful. It also smells AMAZING.
