[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not usually a fan of Neutrogena moisturizers because they seem to exacerbate my extreme combination skin. This gel moisturizer was actually light, absorbed nicely, and my pores didn’t feel clogged. Unfortunately, after an hour or two I still looked a bit greasy so I make keep this as a nighttime moisturizer only. It’ll be really good in the winter when my skin gets super dry.

I am on an acne regiem that pretty much keeps things at bay except before my period and when I use a product that clogs my pores. However, I need hydration which actually helps keep oil production down. Using products for acne dry out my skin and cause my oil production to go into overdrive. This product does exactly what I need, offering moisture that doesn't leave me greasy, nor break me out. It also noticably plumps my skin. I run a lot and have noticed fat loss in my face at only 28. This helps so much and makes me feel better when I look in the mirror. As for the smell, I think it smells good. It's a light clean non-offensive scent.

This moisturizer has been great for me. It leaves my skin feeling fully hydrated, and the moisturizer doesn’t leave a sticky or greasy residue on my face. I used to use the Drink of H2O by Tarte moisturizer, but found this one to be very similar and works even better in my opinion.

This is my favorite brand. I bought a lot of jars and I don't remember which one this is. Mostly I use it before going to bed so that the next morning I have a better skin. It moisturizes all night keeping your skin from drying out. Highly recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Neutrogena hydroboost cleanser so I was excited to try the hydroboost water gel. The gel went on nicely, dried quickly and made my skin feel hydrated. The gel is a perfect moisturizer for the hot summer. It does have a fragrance, it isn’t strong but i have a really sensitive nose so it is too strong for me. I use the fragrance free cleanser and the fragrance free gel would be perfect for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Neutrogena Hydro Boost collection. As much as I loved the Neutrogena water gel, this gel cream has quickly become my favorite. I have combination skin and the water gel is my holy grail for summer. This gel cream is thicker so it's perfect for fall and winter. It is significantly more hydrating. The texture is so smooth, cooling, silky, but not heavy or greasy at all. I used it on my entire face and neck at night. And when I woke up the next morning, it was completely soaked in. My skin felt so smooth and hydrated. I also used it as a skin prep before makeup because it dries in no time and doesn't clog pores.

I need something that doesn’t leave my skin feeling too dry or too greasy and this moisturizer is the perfect match for my skin. I also love that it has Hyaluronic acid, it is the perfect everyday moisturizer!

This is one of my favorite skincare products and one that I've repurchased twice. It has a light, jelly consistency and is unscented. I like using this as a first layer of moisture followed by a thicker moisturizer to lock the HA in. I don't find that I need a lot of this product on a day-to-day basis either, so while it is on the more expensive side, it lasts.

It feels very lightweight and doesn’t leave me oily like other moisturizers I’ve used in the past. I’ll definitely be repurchasing!

This winter was brutal on my poor skin and made it drier than it has ever been. I was given the chance to try out Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel and in the past 4 weeks the results have been great. My poor dry dehydrated skin is starting to get its glow back. The water gel really feels like your jumping into water it is that light. A little bit goes a long way too. You can use this day or night but I prefer to use mine at night so it can really go deep down into my skin and give it maximum hydration. I like that it is light weight and works great under my makeup without making it clumpy. It also smells great, with a clean refreshing scent. This is now my go to moisturizer.
