[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was sent this product to test out in exchange for an honest review. i have been using this product for a couple days now and so far the results are minimal. i have extremely dry skin so i require like ultra max hydration especially when it comes to moisturizers/lotions. i had heard/read alot of great things about this gel prior to first use. and unfortunately it hasn't lived up to my expectations. it provided pretty good hydration at first but wore off within the hour and felt like it didn't actually absorb into my skin. i had to constantly reapply which i disliked alot. no breakouts or irritation, just not hydrated skin. i would still recommend giving this product a try if you have slight to moderately dry skin, but if youre like me and need something that truly hydrates effectively and for the entire day - look elsewhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel and absolutely loved it! It was clean feeling and not at all heavy or greasy. The gel absorbed completely into my face and neck. It didn’t really have much of a smell at all. I even tried putting a little in the fridge and used it one morning and it was so refreshing!! I really likes this gel and will be purchasing again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the glass jar that it comes in. It looks like it's an expensive product but it's really affordable. And it will last for a long time because it really doesn't take a lot. A little bit goes a long way.it has a nice light scent also. And it leaves your skin feeling so soft and hydrated. I've used so many different hydrating face products and I've never found one that works so quickly. I could tell a difference in my skin after the first use. My flaky patches are finally gone. I will for sure recommend this product to other people and I will continue to use this product in the future. I even have my husband using it once a day and his dry skin is gone! We love it!

My skin is very dry (especially during winter) and also very sensitive so it's hard to find a product that combats both... that is until now! I've tried moisturizers specifically for dry skin but they always are TOO moisturizing and tend to leave behind an oily film. My skin becomes shiny and greasy which then results in unwanted blemishes and acne. When trying moisturizers for sensitive skin, they usually aren't moisturizing enough and my skin still feels dry and crackly. Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Water Gel is the best of both worlds! Since it's a water based gel, it doesn't leave the oily residue that I despise and it doesn't cause unwanted clogging of the pores. All that's left behind is smooth, soft skin! Although it does have a fragrance, it does not bother me at all. I actually think is smells quite nice! I do recommend that you use this product only after you've cleaned your face so it doesn't mix with anything that's on the surface of your skin. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving Neutrogena Hydro Boost to begin testing I was both a bit surprised and skeptical of the product and how it would work. Suprised at how really, sorta high-ended the packaging for it was. The actual jar itself, colors and print on it dont look or feel like a vanity-top jar thats next to the toothpaste. Seemed as if it was putting it on footing with some more expensive products and thats where my skepticism came in. Would this work well or even at all? Upon opening it seemed a bit "watery" and that it possibly could be messy, or oily. Turns out it really isn't and it gets absorbed very well by your skin, leaving it feeling hydrated and refreshed. A bit of a word of warning though, a little does go a long way when it comes to this product. My face feels very relaxed, refreshed and looks great after using this for a little over a week. It has even replaced the after shave balm I was using. This is a great product in my opinion and would definitley reccomend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I've never tried the Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel by myself, I'm familiar with it because both of my daughters have been using it. The new version has a very similar gel like texture & it absorbs into skin quickly. I wear sunscreen and makeup over it, and there is no pilling. The new formula is so different. They removed a dye & fragrance and added the natural moisturizing factors. Very impressive formula. I love that it keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day. If you are looking for a simple moisturizer, I would definitely recommend this.

I’ve been trying this out as my skin is so so dry. I actually really like the way this is making my skin feel. It’s my first time using a gel moisturizer and I’m really happy with it. I purchased a small one to try but will probably get the larger one soon!

I absolutely love everything about this product aside from the smell and the strange blue dye. This product does everything it says and more, doesn't cause break outs, lasts a long time, but has the worst fragrance added to it. I'm normally not very sensitive to scents but this product smells like a cheap air freshener to the extent that it makes me cough when it's on my face. I'm going to switch to the cream-gel simply because it is fragrance and dye free, hopefully it won't be too hydrating for my oily skin.
