Every single word that I wrote in this post reflects my genuine unbiased personal opinion as an individual, a consumer and a professional. We love everybody, but chemistry is always brutally honest. <3 Check out Influensters website to find out how you can join the club and also be selected to become a part of their fabulous Cosmetic Testing Program the VoxBox! :) CONSIDERATIONS I believe its interesting to start this review by looking into the differences between a Deodorant and an Antiperspirant. Products classified as DEODORANTS have compounds that will conceal and/or neutralize the odors, caused by bacteria that lives in the human skin and break off the proteins found in sweat a process that results in a... less than pleasant smell. ANTIPERSPIRANTS, on the other hand, are actually classified as a DRUG by the FDA, because the way those compounds (mostly aluminum-based) work on the skin is by forming a gel and temporarily plugging the sweat glands, thus preventing sweat from forming and/or leaking through the skin. So, since it messes with such an important process of our biology, FDA classified it as a drug. In this case, this product has BOTH actions and it works perfectly great for me on a daily routine! All the ingredients used are FDA-inspected and approved and therefore are considered SAFE to be used on human skin, except on rare cases where the individual might manifest an allergic reaction to a specific compound due to a preexisting condition. BRUTALLY HONEST FORMULA BREAKDOWN (from most abundant to least abundant) *ACTIVE INGREDIENTS* ALUMINUM CHLOROHYDRATE (20.2%): Antiperspirant action. Theres not much to say about this compound: its always causing comotion because of researches that appear saying that its bioaccumulative, then its denied, then its on again, and it keeps on going like that. The truth is, theres not much place to run if you are a heavy sweater and you want to use a product that will really stop it (aside from Botox lol)... at least as far as Im aware of. I wouldnt call myself a HEAVY sweater (except when Im dancing hard or exercising or doing normal stuff that people sweat? I guess lol) but its definitely something I count on my deodorant to help me keep under control. And this did a fine job with a generous application in the morning before work. I just personally wouldnt try the 48 hours protection they advertise. Remember those advertisements are based on lab experiments conducted in fully controlled environments. *INACTIVE INGREDIENTS (that should never be overlooked!)* BUTANE: Propellant Gas that's what makes the spray... well, spray. Its considered safe as long its not inhalated or ignited. Hydrofluorocarbon 152A: Another Propellant Gas its one of the compounds that appeared a few years ago to substitute the ozone-layer enemies CFCs (Chrolofluorocarbons) gasses. Its good for the environment and in a 2-year inhalation study, no toxic effects were observed. CYCLOPENTASILOXANE: Very commonly used silicone emmolient in the cosmetic industry. Brings a silky touch to the skin/product. Although approved by the FDA, some studies have linked it to persistent bioaccumulation. ISOBUTANE: Very pure form of Butane. Propellant Gas. Considered safe as long as its not inhalated or ignited. PPG-14 BUTYL ETHER: Similar to Propylene Glycol. Very commonly used synthetic organic alcohol that attracts/absorbs water, therefore acting as a solvent to the cosmetic mixture. FRAGRANCE (PARFUM): Very clean and out-of-the-shower scent that really lingers. I like it! HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL: Oil extracted from Sunflower seeds. Its a fine natural skin moisturizer and emolient. DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE: There is some data gap for this compound. Apparently, its a natural extract from the Hectorite Clay with its chemical structure slightly altered. It acts as a Cosmetic Thickener in this case, I suppose it helps with the dry feeling of the spray. C12-15 ALKYL BENZOATE: Clear, thick oil-soluble liquid that promotes light skin conditioning, leaving skin with a silky aftertouch. PROPANE: Propellant Gas Its considered safe as long its not inhalated or ignited. BHT: Synthetic Antioxidant used as Preservative in Cosmetics and Food. Although considered SAFE TO USE by the FDA, according to studies analyzed by the European Food Safety Authority, limited evidence of carcinogenicity has been detected. Yikes. Also, BHT has a side use of being a good chemical-fragrance masker. OCTYLDODECANOL: Skin Conditioning Agent, Cosmetic Solvent and Fragrance-Masker. PROPYLENE CARBONATE: Synthetic Cosmetic Solvent used to adjust the Viscosity of the product. DIMETHICONOL: Very similar to Dimethicone (Silicone). Forms a film on top of the skin that aids with hydration. Note: please, be careful with DIMETHICONOL because it builds up on the skin/hair and requires a very thorough wash to take it out completely. TOCOPHERYL ACETATE: More stable form of Tocopherol (Vitamin E) - used as Skin Conditioner and Antioxidant. Does a good job on controlling the sweat. I am living in a city which is famous for its hot temperatures and even the winters here is glitter than the summer of most of the places. The weather hear makes it absolutely essential to have a good antiperspirant spray and this dove product is doing a decent job.

It's very soft as a scent but does the trick of keeping you smelling fresh and clean even when you may not truly be! It will mask a scent with a touch of spray. I recommend this product highly to all men on the go.

He says it work well and keep it moisture all day long. The smell is not to strong and last very long. He does not need to reapply all day long. I would buy it more for him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fair warning, I rarely ever sweat so I don’t have much experience with other deodorants (so take my review with a grain of salt). But I did like this deodorant, it kept me smelling good like cologne/perfume and was effective at keeping me completely dry during a run. The smell is like soap and light cologne, not a super strong scent. Overall would purchase this again, but maybe not this scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome! I’ve tried a lot of different sprays and none of them made me feel so comfortable as this one. I noticed that after working out I was still dry and smelling good, so this will be something that I’ll use everyday from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] More convenient than the typical stick. Just pull off the cap qnd spray. No need to pass or deal with rotating the stick. I really enjoyed the ease of this product and it doesnt leave a sticky residue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Influenster sent me this product free for my honest review. My husband and I both tried this. Neither of us normally is spray so that was a change but not a bad thing. The sprayer was nice and operated well. The scent is not as masculine as some of the other men’s deodorant scents that my husband has used but it was enjoyable. Overall, the product was nice and worked well. The sample size was really nice for using it on the go as well. If you prefer spray deodorant/antiperspirants I would recommend giving this one a go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smelled great and seemed to work fine! Didn’t last the full 24 hours though! Or maybe I just sweat a lot, had worn off by next morning and I typically don’t get the body odor scent before my next shower. But worked good for the day!!

I don’t use aluminum based deodorant because of the research I have read. I would to try an aluminum/ chemical free product 😁 Also another ingredient it says is butane. Yikes
